Yes a good turnout.

Much as I hate to say it, I think it will only be a matter of time before folk start turning AWAY in numbers, if we keep playing like that. Let's face it Warrington were considerably understrength, which I felt showed in the first half, and which is why we matched them, but after 50 minutes they found their feet, and moved into SECOND gear, and without trying too hard ripped us apart.....we could have played all night, and I doubt we would have scored again. We seem to be incapable of either breaking a tackle, or beating a man (Mariano and Cockayne excepted), which has got to be down to the halves. I watched Smith today, and whilst he is good at calling the plays and telling the others what to do, I believe he is a one-trick-pony, and the only play he seems capable of executing is the drop-off pass, which fools no-one...he is just too predictable. Both John and Washbrook seem to be incapable of anything creative, so consequently we are a boring side to watch. Wood seems to be getting less effective game by game, so I believe it is time for a shake-up. Get Ellis back, and possibly give Wildie a chance ????

Alton was relentless in defence. Moriano and lauititi amongst our best players.

Don't think anybody had a poor game today tbh. The effort for most part was there. The last few trys were desperate passes trying to find headway against a good wire side.

The crowds won't hold up much longer unless we see an improvement pretty damn quick. We keep making the same mistakes in defence time and time again. We were suppose to have been working on things in training whilst there has been a derth of games. Well Mr Agar it hasn't worked once again. Sort it out because the next two are must win games.

A positive - 2nd biggest super league crowd of the weekend (although will be 3rd after tonight's game).

Increasing crowds last year and averaging over 8000 this year is nothing short of miraculous, given the lack of success on the field.

Perhaps the new or returning fans are not as sceptical as we select few who know that we're all doomed from years of experience.

A win next week would help though and, combined with some big news next month, the rest of the season may look a little rosier.

Yep, Newmarket is the big one for us this year and is more important than our on field situation but, a win next week might just start a bit of momentum as we seem to have a near full strength squad

whats the state of play with the ground anyway? how've you managed to put a roof up when its reportedly, not owned by WTW(as was said last year) is that not correct?

The roof(s) are only temporary structures and will put us on until the planning decision is confirmed in 28 days time.
However, the new ground will still have to be built which will take maybe 18 months ?? so the investement in Belle Vue was considered good value for money, not least at it helped us remain in Super League.

If all goes well, we could/should be in a completed ground in 2014, probably not the beginning but during.
