OK firstly there isn't one on western terrace saying that and secondly on the doncater road entrances you signs aren't clear, thirdly when you get tothe turnstyle saying ticket only, you then get told that turnstyle is for adults only and the child has to join the other queue

That's correct there isn't a family gate or ticket only on the western Terrace, just around the corner it clearly states ticket only and Doncaster Road clearly states ticket only and the family gate.

Cant really see your point here, we have reasons for segregating turnstiles and I believe the operation is fine. If you want to avoid Queing then arrive early as we do have increased crowds this season and this will cause congestion at the turnstiles after 3pm

To get back to the main important point of this thread.. I thought the pies were very dissappointing and there were no peas... and to make matters worse she charged me 50p for gravy. My brother had a chip butty at around 2 oclock and they chips were cold and had been sat there for ages. It was so much better upstairs in the cats bar, even the wakefield pie was nice.

although i dont condone it, after being taunted and been called names like pussy's and knuckledraggers etc all week on here by some of your fans what else did you expect?

well as far as i was aware not 1 of our fans on these boards have come on looking for a fight and verbally abusing people and giving racial abuse.....................having banter with each other on an internet forum is one thing but to physically threaten people is another.

FT i don't agree with you on much but i agree 100% on this. i sometimes bring the grandson and it just gets worse. we seem to set off earlier and earlier but always seem to miss the start. if we were in the ground in plenty of time we would have time to spend money on refreshments but this is lost to the club when we are late. most of us lead a hectic life these days and don't always have time to set off hours before kick off. it deffo wants sorting.

Can someone confirm if the stadium is still a no smoking area I am sick of smoking other peoples cigs.

Last years pies were a sensation, have we moved from Graham Easbys (i think??) pies to Peters?
Peters i know sponsor the league in some way or did, but they are not by any stretch of the imagination a good supplier of pies, BIG does not always mean good!!!

I am with you on that one. If people have to smoke then there should be a designated area away from the crowd. I have noticed a few times this season folk smoking bang in middle of crowd near to me , next to children too.

And why does the menu state;

Chips - £2.00
Pie + chips - £4.50

Well if were having a general moan. Why are kids openly walking onto the pitch in the corners.

There were 4-5 young kids (in youth team kits) and little girls playing and lying on the pitch in the corner near the Donnie road entrance. I would not allow my kid onto the pitch for fear of a collision with a rugby league player(s) going for a try.

Think of the implications to Wakey if one got seriously hurt.

As far as I know it's never been no smoking except for the East Stand, maybe you should consider sitting in there if smoking offends you so much.

BV has been a no smoking stadium for a number of years now.

There's a smoking enclosure round the back of the flats; some people choose to smoke where they stand.

I think you are wrong on this it wasnt just the East stand it was the whole stadium and I dont want to sit down and i dont want to smoke other peoples fags thanks

Not just tobacco smoke too, yesterday near where I was stood someone was smoking a very herbal blend and there was also the mobile scoreboard pumping out noxious gasses

Well I stand corrected I never knew it was no smoking. In fact I always smoke in the ground and no one has ever said anything to me, even in front of the stewards. I always thought you could smoke because we had open terrace. How long has this ban been in and why isn’t it enforced?

Abvout 4 years ago the stewards should enforce it, I am not bothered if the club has areas of the terracing for a half time drag etc but being a non smoker I find it rude with a policy when others light up, not thiat its their fault if you dont know and a re a local then the club needs to make it clear.

I turned up about 2.45 ish with my young nephew and went went through the turnstiles down from Con club, marked up tickets only. Queued about 2 minutes and we both went through same turnstile. No problems at all.

I partake in a half time smoke but I remove myself from the north stand where I appreciate me blowing smoke past people and kids is not appropriate.

I retreat to the rear where steps are so as not to blow smoke over everyone. I do notice some people light up near where I stand and even as a smoker it is unpleasant to see a guy carelessly puffing away in a crowd of people.

Whether it is allowed or not i don't know but, It's plain inconsiderate to fellow supporters. It does not take much to find a more suitable area.

Its not fair to smoke in close proximity of so many people. Personally having already had cancer I would rather avoid it again thank you
