Everyone who has put out details of Carter's 'evil plan' seem to have a 'reliable source'......but no one takes responsibility when proved to be untrue.

Hear hear. This is actually exciting news and possibly the best legacy MC could leave us, having generally been great for our club and running into some huge obstacles over the years such as Wakefield mdc, yorkcourt, covid, reduced SL sky cash and the economic downturn.
He's made mistakes the last 2 years with recruitment. Or at least the club has. This sounds very promising but only on this site could there be a mixture of wild accusations, suspicions and assumptions that try to turn it into something negative. To be honest, THE worst thing about our current situation is the behavior of some of our fans...I use the word loosely, on social media and this forum

I've never actually spoken to Carter apart from at Fans Forum...so no grovelling. But if things are said that are not true I feel honour bound to call them out. I'd do the same for you.

Take no notice of the ball cocks talked by quite a few. We don't know if this is happening at all. It's idle speculation and pretty horrible stuff. Wait till you know the facts before you draw conclusions would be my advice

Yes I obviously jumped the gun on that one. I had my ear bent a little today by someone connected to the club, they assured me most of what I had read was inaccurate and some news was due. Hopefully, we can all look more positively for the eventual outcome.

I do fully understand what he did in 2013. Was things financially, though, how he summarised it several times over, in 2013, I very much doubt it. The figures changed significantly over a short period of time.

His manner hasn't endeared him to a lot of fans during his tenure, not just in recent times.

I don’t think every decision MC has made has been beneficial to the club but neither do I think he’s the total bad guy he’s being made out to be. I note that JM has also been dragged into things from hero to zero in record time.
I think those making currently unfounded allegations should keep their gobs shut until the real facts come out.

Carter has a manner that some don't like.
Personally I don't want a glad hander. I want someone who can make tough decisions and take the hit if they go wrong even if those affected don't like it.

He's had to be unpopular to get things done and I'm glad he did. Clearly some have a little vendetta going and waited for the day when the team wasn't doing well to pile on.
Many posting so gleefully now were nowhere to be seen when it was going OK. Its just the way some people are.

Minards on the other hand is someone we shouldn't lose from the club. If I was the new guy, I'd keep some of the people who work at the club at least through transition.

Now i'm no particular fan of Carter & co at all and will be glad to see the back of them but they have done some good things along the way. I am interested though, exactly what have you done to save the club?
