He may still be...that statement from JM yesterday just said that he was stepping down as Chairman, not that he was leaving the club, and with this being his area of expertise for the past few months I will be very surprised if ME has just allowed him to walk away ??

I would hope so too Dunkirk but there is no mention of old regime in any if the statements, normally it is just curtesy to do so even if it was not amicable which I don't know if it was or not.

Must admit i'd noticed the lack of any mention of the outgoing lot and found it quite strange and possibly quite telling. I'd guess it's a full clean sweep and JM is no longer involved in any capacity as of now. Although nothing is confirmed and at the time of writing nothing regarding the takeover yesterday has appeared on the companies house website i'd guess its out with the old and in with the new.

It is, but it isn't on the score sheet until next year, as it has not been in use.

Our score this year will be artificially lower than it will be next year.

With the IMG provisional scores out tomorrow, who’s the club spokesman to keep fans informed of what will be a massive influence on the club’s future, JM at the member shareholders meetings always appeared to clued up on this subject, i now fear we have lost an informative voice, I know Mat says in his video, he will utilise his DIY staff in the media and digital roles, but I doubt very much they are up to speed with all things IMG.

It's not that hard to get up to speed with it. It's a form full of yes/no questions. You either meet the criteria to get the points or you don't.

If its that easy, I'd love to see your assessment.

Without knowing the clubs finances and academy spend, as well as all of the social media data etc it would be pure speculation, but if you've got that data (which the club will have anyway) then it's pretty straightforward.

For my guess, assuming they're all pretty much in all in order I think were looking at somewhere between 10-13 points

No idea, i’d have probably gone for a short handover period myself whilst the provisional IMG scores come out and the stadium is finished but i’m sure they will keep us informed somehow. It’s Ellis’ club now to run how he see’s fit, he probably see’s it differently and i guess he’ll live and die by the decisions he makes.

That's quite a range but your point is well made.
It isn't actually that hard to do, you are correct.

The difficult part is creating a plan to increase your scores efficiently.
It's a case of doing a realistic score to baseline the business, then budgeting each section individually to get to the next threshold, then assigning priority.
The club that does that will be king.

And in real terms, investing in the Western terrace may improve the look of the stadium, but if it doesn't get points, it goes to the bottom of the list. And if building a small barrier for press gets you points, then it goes to the top....even if fans will never notice it.

12.52 - currently in 11th but right in the middle of the pack where half a dozen clubs are around. A good season next year with continuing improvement off pitch would see us in Super league, but it's fine margins

Considering the financial constraints we've endured I think that 12.52 as a starting point for the new regime is testament to the spade work put in by the outgoing team.
