Back the players and coaches, unlike some on here.

Just seen the tries. We have real issues in defence to sort.

Horror show down the Hall and Lineham side , looked liked men against boys on sky sports , with Wigan scoring almost at will . Pride and passion sadly missing tonight . Dust ourselves down and move on , and surely to god we can only get better .

It was a terrible time to play Wigan who dropped 2 big names to send a message to the players after the performance they put in against Hull KR.

As you say though there are no reinforcements coming in, so it’s all about hard work and us fans getting behind them, the last thing we need is supporters turning their backs on the club.

I think we will see some players come in on loan in the not too distant future Sam Halsall I think will be one we will target.

Lineham may be a bit of a character and slimmed down version of his 22 version but he is a total liability in defence due to lack of pace and mobility. I don’t think he starts again for Trinity unless we pick up a lot of injuries.

Nobody is happy but similarly nobody should be surprised.

That's the spirit, put the blame on us supporters who have been buying our season tickets etc, turning up year after year and continually having to put up with this. Also some have put £500 into this club when things are tight , blame supporters if you like, but this club has great supporters in my opinion.

My only hope is the players have been beasted in pre-season so are a little fatigued, otherwise being so far off the pace so early in the season is worrying. If its jut because the quality ofvthe squad is lower than what we thought, we're gonners.

Who is putting the blame on supporters?

Be surprised if anyone comes in given we went over our budget to sign Langi. Someone will have to leave first and nobody is going to want the ones we might be willing to release.

PT and yourself have been saying this for the last ten years. Just when will you accept what's plain to see by the majority?

How about you suggesting that the club owner back our young coach by at least giving him a squad to give the lad a fighting chance.

Huddersfield have some very strong players in their squad who basically won’t get a game this year. They will be sending players on loan and I’m sure they would be prefer to pay a very large percentage of their wages, if not all, to see them play in SL and develop than drop down to Championship level.

Dont get how we gone over budget to sign langi,we lost 12 players some of our best earners in miller fave tommy and bill,and brought in 4 yes jorge bowden and buttler been and i get jorge but buttler was signed in may.like i said on another post maybe 500k on a perfectly good pitch may of been better spent on players

Not a chance they’ll pay a large percentage. They will more likely go to a team openly still looking for players and with money to spend. Leigh spring to mind.

It was Grant money and we never had it it. So it would not have gone on the squad. I knock the club for many things but will give them that one

Well thats fine if thats the case i dont know sure you can see where i was coming from and i get the pitch will hopefully generate income in time

I wasnt atacking the club pt just saying i cant see where we spent more than last season think even yourself will agree we are weaker i was hoping we had money left to go into market in the seadon like most seasons

Watching the tries on highlights. Ever try except 1 in the last 2 games have come through the edges.

It’s obvious the structure and defence out wide is not adequate. Also that right edge was poor with so many players on the outside/inside of Lineham going through untouched.

Lineham beaten to another kick too. I want to give him a chance band won’t knock his effort but I’m not sure he is good enough for superleague anymore.

How the coaches sort it out I don’t know but the edges really need addressing.

People knocking Lineham and rightly so. However just watch the efforts of Gaskill on every try.

Gaskell is not a full back. Unfortunately I think all the backs and wide forwards need looking at in terms of structure in defence and need a lot of work.

Let’s hope Jowitt is back next week. If he isn’t then Butterworth being the only actual fullback left will have to play.
