Der!!! when we play in our local rivals now it will be home games for you guys that usually go to bell vue

I'm fairly sure that going to Headingly, Wheldon Road and the John Smiths Stadium won't feel like home games.

On that basis then we will have three 'home' games in West Yorkshire and two in Humberside. Wow, five games (assuming you can afford the trip to Humberside) will really sustain the interest.

one other point - if the ground doesn't get resolved and we do go out of business/get relegated/lose SL funding/end up getting taken over would you prefer to be taken over by Toulouse, Coventry, Gloucester, Dublin or as BOJ042 suggests NY??....whoever got our franchise would Waky fans watch this team or go support Eastmoor Dragons in the hope of building them up into a FT club - no-one thought the cities rah rah side would go under but where is it now

Glad they're not promoting my site! It really is unbelievable that in four years they couldn't get anybody interested!!! What about TK Maxx? Why did they end up at Ferrybridge if Newmarket was recommended to them?

Usually with attracting new businesses to a site it’s all about the incentives that the developer and LA offer. It would be interesting to know just what efforts have been made by YC and the council and what incentives were being proposed for firms to sign up to Newmarket compared with what incentives were proposed at other sites in the district

Spot on, they should amend it to Wakefield Community Stadium and sports facilities, plus around 2000 jobs.

A site right on M62 and one junction down from M1. Its vitually on the cross roads of the country.This must be the finest site in the north of England.
