It's evident that there appears still to be significant interest in Kirmond who only 2 years ago couldn't get a contract with Huddersfield. This is despite his omission from the World Cup.

He has found his niche in the second row at WTW and should have at least been in the England Knights Squad, playing for a struggling small club went against him probably. However if there is anything near £200,000 being offered for him (not £100,000)I believe it MUST BE TAKEN but the reaction from the fans needs to be managed with some quality bargain basement players coming into the club at the same time through the revolving door. Problem is if Kirmond gets injured in a game and is out for the season then thats the big investment potential lost.

If it's to clear debt and nothing else then I would not want to even think of the reaction from the fans who are mostly extremely disheartened by the same old depressing story at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats of 'mismanagement and things will now change' messages when they in fact don't and assets are just sold off.

Not wishing to change topics but I did use Bradford as a club that were struggling like us but did not chose to make it public even though it was obvious based on the information. This resulted in them staying relatively clear of bad negative publicity and I wonder how their season tickets sales went.
I think they are in a much worse financial position because their previous chairman still wants his money back and their sky money is restricted. They have lost two players and released a few more but with little debate.

3 SL clubs had meeting with the RFL in September regarding cash flow problems and that didn't include London,we're not the only ones and at least we're doing something about it and we will have a better future than a lot of other clubs. I'm looking forward to next season more than last season of constant CCJs. We will get through this and be better and stronger for it.

I once worked for a company that was disintegrating before our eyes (far worse than the position you're in) and things were changing every day. People were made redundant only to be asked, on the day they were leaving, to stay on for a couple of weeks. At the risk of doing a Red League and telling your CEO/Chairman (not sure which) his job, I would guess that the situation is similarly fluid at Wakefield - although probably not as volatile - and your board are trying to get everything in order with the minimum of player loss, and so aren't really in a position to answer questions like that yet. I guess that, for the time being, you'll just have to sit tight and hope for the best.

As far as I can see....it's been said that we have had 2 bids for Kirmond, and by the sounds of it they are way short of interesting us....

Right from the start we were told that although the situation was pretty bad we wouldn't be bent over and shafted by other teams by losing players for less than their worth.....I think so far from the ones who have gone the general consensus is that we have done more than ok with what we have got....

A deal has been done with salford but kirmo not happy to go, and is back in training. So don't know what the outcome will be, will he be pushed to go???

No deal has been done. Is this clear? Haven't heard off anyone since turning last offer down a week last Friday. Is this clear?
