Thats a fair point but if there is any investors out there then they need to make themselves known before the club were enter adminstration in order to set up a pre-pack agreement and get the rfl onside. Otherwise they run the risk of buying a business thats had its major assets, the players, sold off to the highest bidder in the intervening period. The fact that a shareholder of the club knows nothing of any interest makes me think that sadly they don't exist.

I will be absolutely gutted if this happens - Been saying for ages we were going to lose Cowling if we didn't give him a chance. He has not been given the chance to show what he is capable of aside from in the odd game. He has proved as capable in those couple of games as Lyne has shown in all the chances he has had, and he is "home-grown" which is a necessity as we don't appear to have many more coming through in the immediate future (although long-term looks better I believe)

Agar should be telling him to hold fire on his decision and giving him the remaining 3 games to show what he can do if given a chance.

How hard are they looking ? We are still a SL club with Newmarket on the horizon. I am sure there would be interest.

Completely agree. Its concerning that a club trained player who has shown potential in the first team games he's played has been overlooked for a player who has shown very little. Its situations like this that gives the impression that Agar has his favourites. Lyne is an Agar signing on a 3(?) year deal so it seems he gets more opportunities to make the grade.

I'm pretty sure wy windows will never call that loan in, and I wouldn't call my loan in either. So that's that bit cleared. The tax is getting sorted. So any investment would go to the future running of the club. But these people simply are not there. If you can put me in touch with such a person, drop me a pm. I will meet anyone face to face if they are serious about putting money in.

I agree. He has shown promising signs when given a go but others always seem to jump the queue. Wouldn't blame him for leaving to be honest.

I know its not easy but I would have thought this would have been the best route to follow. You are about at the stage the last lot were about 12 months before it all folded. Selling players for transfer fees, money owed to HMRC, cheap players recruited just to turn out a squad. No one had heard about Andrew Glover, Steve Parkin or anyone else back then. They did not come out of the woodwork till the bitter end.

I can't remember how many clubs I have seen go bust over the years, even the mighty Wigan got close once.
However in every case someone always comes along when the time is right for them.

I can also add what has been done clubwise since the last liquidation has certainly made the club a much better proposition than it was back then.

Not giving him more than 2 opportunities is reason enough. If Goulding gets into the 17 on Sunday he'll have had the same number of chances as Cowling.

I don't know how people can say Cowling is a good player or a bad one, hes had 2 performances, one decent and one bad.
I'd like to of seen more of him, especially on Sunday which I doubt will be happening.
