this mornings u11s game between crigg and panthers finished 20-8 to crigg.

a very good game with some very good defence on show,i dont think their was two scores between the two sides and there was very little between them with the panthers the better team first half and crigg the better in the second.credit must go to both teams for trying to play rugby in awful conditions, im sure both teams will benifit in the future for playing expansive rugby now.

Stanley Rangers U13 beat Dudley Hill 12 - 22 top game, apart from a of a referee and a little of a lad who ragged our Nathan to the ground for no reason.

Definitely right Rob - game of 2 halves , but that's as much to do with the slope in the corner as anything , seen it so many times now .
Tbh the scores not important . it's the way that the games played imo . Thought you were absolutely bang on earlier when you mentioned about the lads learning the game was more important than just winning whatever ( or words to that effect ) .
Absolute pleasure to watch that this morning , obviously chuffed to bits that our lads won (only natural ), but for all of them to play well throughout against easily one of the top teams in the group means that the coaches are doing something right !

Stanley 11s bounced backed by beating shaw cross at shaw cross after they did a lot crying that they should of had an home game . the rangers played as a team and put in a great performance with many of last years more quite players getting involved . the final score was 20-6 after a succession of silly penalties ect gave the sharks possession time after time / it was good to see that after talking talking to Ernie & co. that most players finally clicked on ton what lee said and passed and defended as a unit . the first 2 tries came from 2 super cross field kicks whereas last week i think as a team we would of tried to kick the door in to get over the line.

Hope to see you guys after the winter as i have a feeling we will get sacrificed for dewsbury

pleased to say my son has come home from the hospital today.if all goes well next week he can start his recuperation after he has been to the fracture clinic but his season is over.

Good news, hope he is ok, bad injury for someone so young, hope he makes full recovery.

hope the lad makes a quick return and is soon back on his feet,i know its no consolation but from a rugby point of view he has a three month head start with no games now until probably march.

tonight the U13s at Stanley enjoyed a their xmas do and what a night it was,
as team bonding goes this had to be the best yet, if the coaches get up tomorrow with thick heads then its their faults
