I'd imagine the answer to that is yes. AG is a very shrewd business man and whilst not the richest man in the world he's definitely not short of a bob or two. One of his goals is to make the club self sufficient, this I would imagine will require investment from himself at the onset but as the club grows and becomes more and more self sustainable then the investment required will obviously get smaller and smaller year on year.

It's not a case of trust, it's hard economics, upton has answered that AG is astute but hasn't got pots of cash, that would worry me, a certain woman who loves RL is sitting on a couple of million at the moment, she might just become interested in a club a little way down the road from where she lives. I hope for your sakes she doesn't.

The new ground is key, as I have said before, I hope AG delivers on that promise.

Put it this way £250,000 recieved from selling 2,500 season tickets before september 30th will be about £150,000 more than the same time last year and maybe all together gained from season ticket sales!! I'm sure the income gained will be put to good use to open up new income streams to sustain spending on new players...money in the bank and all that..

Bear in mind that AG won't be writing cheques for the new stadium build - it's being financed by the developer (YorkCourt) to smooth the way for the industrial units and hotel on the same site.

AG is however funding £500k of ground improvements at BV in the off-season, to make it compliant for next season; not sure how, but I'm sure he has credit lines available.
