that was the worst refereeing i have seen for a long time! to be fair we didnt play too well but crusaders were blatently offside, and i mean well offside all night
the players were 5,6 metres in front of him at one point and he did nothing. 2 disallowed tries for wakey, one kick was touched down by smurph and he brought us back to award us a penalty?????

the last try for crusaders was an absolute disgrace... sammut knocked on the ball rolled 2-3 metres into a waiting crusaders player who picked it up and scored. how that is possible i will never know

disgrace... the to@%bag quite rightly got booed off and had the cheek to grin up at us...

























oh and i forgot to mention the fact that they got good field position to score that wonder try from a penalty for wait for it..... offside!

Hyde kicked us to death tonight.

Awful last 60 minutes we were lucky not to concede at the back end of the first half and never really threatened to score in the second. Made far too many errors and never gave ourselves a chance.

Managed to find a decent curry house before the game which turned out to be the highlight of the trip.

Not sure about the offsides he seemed to be taking them back a long way in the first half and the few times I was in line with the defending team they looked onside. Not sure we can blame the ref for this one.

bentham is a to$$er, he's cost us two points, if i were kear i would be fuming, perhaps he, brown, agar and morgan should team up against the rfl? just a thought

not blaming the ref, wakey were very poor (i have no idea how we got 10-0 up as they were the better side even then), but the refereeing was a total joke...

Have to agree with the offside, the try from offside was disgraceful. It didn't help at the end of the game as Ganson was walking off he pitch he took his ear piece out, looked up at the Wakey fans in the stand and smiled from ear to ear! Disgraceful and extremely unprofessional.

he let a few things go for both sides tonight and the supposed Sammut knock on was a result of the Wakey player hitting the ball out if his hands. We were poor in the first half and despite most of the possession couldn't get a point, second half different story thankfully.

On paper we have the weakest squad in SL, we have some talent and have shown we can play and get few wins.

We have no right to expect to win, and we won't always do so. while last nights game would have been a BIG win for us and one that would have left a gap between us and Cru its just did not happen (i did not attend so i don't know why)

Maybe we are expecting too much week in week out from our young side.

Crusaders turned over Huddersfield a few weeks back so whilst it's disappointing Trinity lost it's certainly wasn't a banker.

Look at the line up and their pivots and they are in a much better state than Trinity (with or without Jeffries).

This is a young squad, consistancy will be hard to find. As many have said, Trinity have won games no one expected them to, and now they have perhaps lost the two games as supporters we would have thought they would win.

Maybe not being complete underdogs doesn't suit the game plan.

Well said Big Al. It's not going to happen every game. We have a small squad and will undoubtedly lose some games. We are still way above expectation.

I thought we played ok in the first half but we were poor in the second and our tackling was especially poor but we were certainly not helped by Bentham who was a disgrace and his smirk to our fans at the end said it all. The injuries that we suffered didn't help us. One thing that did annoy me was the fact that we scored 2 trys in the 1st half by making on overlap on Morton's wing but in what little possession we had in the 2nd half we didn't really try this again.
