A match sounds like a good idea.
I never quite understood why during JD's testimonial there was not a testimonial match. It is often a great fundraiser for the recipient.

I guess you'll be glad to have him home.
He will leave this country with the full respect and support of the majority of Wakefield fans. Wish him my best on his new role, I'm sure if he puts as much into it as he did his playing career then he will become very successful - hopefully one day we can get him back here as our coach.
He is right up there near the very top of my list of all time favourites to wear the Trinity shirt. |

These 2 games are set to be JD’s last home games in charge of the Cougars and Korki’s last home games for the Cougars (both returning to Australia at the end of the season). Any Wakefield adult turning up in a Wakefield replica shirt will be charged £10 entry only and any child in a Wakefield replica shirt will be allowed in for free, or bring your Wakefield season ticket.
