he's been a good work horse over the years and taken some crap so at least understand he well liked

Joking aside hes not the best player and all of us will admit that but he can cover alot of positions and will give 110% wherever he plays and who ever hes playing against, all teams need a player like that with the exception of your Wigan and Warringtons.

Won't find many of them in Cas

I don't dislike him, I just don't rate him at all. He may give 110%, but he has 0% ability. I've lost count of the times he takes the ball from dummy half and gets tackled on exactly the same spot he picked it up. And has anyone ever seen him pass? I hope all these people calling him a legend are being sarcastic.

A bit more than Fozzard then, the only difference is one enters the field of play and the other sits on the treatment table.

he di pass Sunday and was at acting half on at least one occasion , also great attempt to get accross and tackle King. In fact Hendo was everywhere on Sunday . He is a solid squad player and every team needs them Look at the likes of Jacko at Cas , Ablett and Kirk at Leeds , everyone needs the work horses to enable the flair players to play. Its not Hendo we should be criticising its the fact we lack the other type of player

hendo should be shaken firmly by the hand for his tremendous efforts and jettisoned into the canal. simply not good enough at this level, never has been. nobody on here can ever knock his effort.

Amazing. A thread that starts off about club shop and then ends up bagging Hendo. All you knockers think of this, show me a player that has shown more commitment or passion for the shirt in past 3/4 years than Hendo. Cos I for 1 can't think of one. He ain't brilliant we know but always gives everything and is still here when others have left when the going got tough.

Maybe the club could find a role for Henderson in the club shop? He could give 100% in there?

Commitment and 'passion for the shirt' are all well and good, and no-one is knocking him for this, but he's not good enough. I'd rather have a year or two of a Brough, than 5 from an average player. Maybe that's just me.

People miss the point on the Henderson stuff. He sums up the lauding of triers to the detriment of moving forward on the pitch. You need utility players who can fill a role when required, but you need good ones.

If we're spending the full cap, Henderson should be nowhere near the squad, and which other Super League team would have him?
