This is what Rugby League is all about - 7,200 crowd, nail biting game, last minute penalty, spirit, endeavor and fighting for a win. What RL should not be about is not having to worry cos you have a place in the top flight no matter how many games you lose. It's the points that should count, not how pretty your stadium is.

It was a good battle and should be what it's all about.

We know we don't have the best stadia but on a warm day like today it holds it's own

Unfortunately we have one of our own who does this at every home game. Stand in the corner where the old score board used to be and you'll hear him. But don't do it when you've got your daughter with you.

And it should also matter what teams you have been on top of out of the last 3 years but it wont - well done Wakey - so proud!

I met some decent KR fans and they were talkative, good hearted and nice to get on with. We all have idiots but the KR fans I met were decent.

All KR fans near us were fine, no different from any other set of fans.

Excellent result, mainly good performance, particularly in coming back, but we should never have let the lead slip like that with knock-ons at the play the play-the-ball.

As for who played well, King, Higgins & the forwards generally, Blaymire out of the backs and George was vastly improved (strangely with Semi-like runs up the middle). Rinaldi did play well, but did he really want to tap that penalty at the end?

What a game we should of had the game won early on with all the pressure, but it came down to a nail biting, the Guys dug deep when needed and showed fight and came away with 2pts

Great win by the lads, good performance and lots of spirit on display, especially when HKR went into the lead and fought back. Little too close for comfort at the end and tbh should never have got that close, after controlling the majority of the game, but still, these kind of games and the Cas one, will put the team and the lads, in good stead for the future.
Good game by Rinaldi, Mariano, King and Morro, impressed by George, really strong game from him.

There were a couple of calls that were dubious but no way is that the reason we lost the game wakies spirit and desire was evident to see we were totally Papp today didn't deserve the win at all.

Tommy Lee wanted to take the 2 points when we were 24-20 down!

We had a couple of Hull Kr fans behind us who when Murphy scored to put them 20 - 6 down were shouting to the KR players your all Sh8t effin rubbish etc and then when they went in the lead they were the best thing since sliced bread and to cap it all off after we had secured the victory the predictable " get a new ground this is a sh*t hole" and "at least we won't be playing you next year" came out.

I don't know if its just me but I think us Trinity fans are usually pretty graceful in defeat. It must be all the practice we have had over the years.

Mick Vella's wife was stood next to us today - he may be in a gash team, but his Mrs is as fit as a butchers dog; fair play.
