You'd have to think that a few more performances like their last 2 or 3 and he will realise that he's on a hiding to nothing. Depends how long he is prepared to wait I guess. I think with his finances then they could build slowly and gradually produce a successful team, however his insistence that they will be challenging for playoffs and Challenge Cup next year seems to indicate that he is not the most patient of owners. Perhaps he should look at how long it has taken Simon Moran to transform Warrington into a consistent top 4 team.

Here goes.....Ex Salford employee Ed Farrish (?) was talking to a Salford specci last Saturday, and he told him that one of Salfords new signings for next season was playing in the forwards on Monday evening, assuming the Salford players aren't gonna be classed as new signings........He appeared to be aiming at a Wakey forward.

As this is a rumour mill I thought I'd bring up a tweet I saw on twitter to someone about a big queensland forward coming to us for 2014 season (Moley who is very reliable) . I have done abit of research and these are the names Ive got but they may not be the one who will sign for us. This is just a list of names that are out of contract.

Costigan has been playing interchange prop for a while now... Pretty much the role he played for Queensland. Very much a Solomona type player,big, rough, tough but with lovely and subtle hands, spent a little time on the sick list but seems ok now...

Would be a stonking signing for a superleague team.

Agree Costigan would be a machine in SL. Doubt any team could secure him though at this stage of his career given the money in the NRL these days.

Would not be too upset were he to replace Tuson at Wigan, but I have a feeling we will bring in Whitehead to fill that gap in our squad.
