And yet King at times was our best prop.
I kind of agree with what you are saying though. If we were going for old prop in his last season I'd try for Morley to be honest. You get a leader at the same time.
If he was a short term fix arriving tomorrow I'd take him but if we are honest, gien a season to recruit, he is probably not the best option.

He has plenty of power and hes bigger than any of our props. Raleigh is ok if he had a couple with power on the interchange. O' Meley would be a very good signing.

Oliver Wilkes
Height 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in)

Andy Raleigh

Matt James (the midget to you)

Yeah, he's way bigger than any of our props no really.
Do you ever get bored of being monumentally wrong.
I'll give you one thing, in his day he was a better but not bigger prop - now he's probably neither.

As a former Crusaders player I thought Mellars was exempt from quota restrictions.

This is where you fall down Vasty you are just going on weight and height! What about O mellys burst of power/ power tests etc you also are forgetting technique. For example O'Mellys leg press will be about 250kg where as johno and wilkes will be at 190/200. The guy has power in abudance and grunt upfront which we are lacking.

I don't disagree about Tickle, not suggesting he'll come to Wakey but i can't see him hanging around at Hull.

I would hope that a professional strength athlete can leg press a bit more than 250kg! Especially a prop forward!

You cheeky git!
That's the point most people have been trying to make to you for month.
That's exactly what it's about and that's what made your midget comment so stupid.
The point you make which is actually my point but anyways is correct. However how you happen to know the physical stats for these players is a mystery, unless you made them up again. I seriously doubt he is stronger in any way than Wilkes - however he probably has better technique. I'd expect him to be stronger in every sense than a young player like Johnson.
Accept it your size obsession was bogus and your post is probably the most contradictory post ever

| O'Meley looks injury prone this season but just watched some of his highlights and I now agree that if he's 80% the player that he has been in previous seasons then he's worth the risk. He's definately the old fashioned snarling hard running fearsome prop & pack leader that WTW need.

| People gave the same sick note tag to Morro when he arrived & he was brilliant until the end of his career!
We had 2 years of almost uninterrupted service, if we get the same from O'Meley I'd be more than happy!

I do think that was always in him and obvious while he was with us.
He improved while here but he was just young and just needed more experience.
When he got that he was just more consistently like he was when at his best with us.
I'd have him back in a shot.

| Elima would be a cracking signing for most clubs.
I really hope we can keep hold of him, but if not I think he'll have a fair few options, he's exactly the sort of signing a club on the up should be making.
