I expect him to do well at Huddersfield, No other reason than he has a great team around him and he will have 2 Players either side him that can actually tackle which will mean his terrible defense will not be highlighted !

Lee is a decent hooker, he will go ok. We played him as a half back.

A large umbrella would suffice, then they can change ends at half time.

some folk seem to think he could play hooker, but he browned his trollies and never took the line on.

His kicking was terrible as was his defence especially near the line. No great loss considering what we have instead. Hudds will fade badly again as they did last year.

I see no reason to be especially harsh on the lad - he came to us in tough times and did an unfamiliar job in a beaten side; in that context, he put in some decent performances and certainly wasn't guilty of pinching his wages.

Personally, I wish him well, whilst hoping that his team gets mullered on a regular basis, especially by us.

I remember one 40 - 20 against Warrington, an odd shimmy and shake to create a try or two but little else all season. When you're looking for your creative players to turn a game and they continually deliver nothing then of course they're gonna disappoint you overtime. If Huddersfield are happy he had a good game v Widnes good luck to them, I saw the highlights and even a team of juniors would have beaten them, they were woeful. Give it time, a few tough games where they are defending a lot and his true colours will then be revealed. Hope he plays against us, think we may get some joy there.

Good luck Tommy wherever you are playing. You put yourself up to play for what was undoubtedly the lowest quality squad since Wakefield entered Superleague and all of you emerged with credit.
Unfortunately, not all Wakefield supporters have sufficient brain cells to understand how professional sport works or the adult maturity to understand that players move on and shouldn't be looked down on just because they don't play for Wakefield. Hope you continue to do well for Huddersfield. I just hope that on the day that we play you, our CURRENT squad of players lift themselves to do better!

i think we all know that players move on. those of us that watch what actually goes on on the pitch look down on tommy lee because of his skill level when it came to tackling, the sluggish speed of his ball play, and the complete lack of pace he displayed on those occasions when he took the ball forward.

Tommy Lee put a Wakefield shirt on, that's about it. His commitment and effort was for us was poor. If he plays well for Hudds good luck to him and them, but a bitter taste has been left by someone who gave %50 for WTW at best.

I'm not praising him for such a great effort - I'm acknowledging that he came to play for us when very few people would, and that he did his best in difficult circumstances.

He played out of position at the request of JK because we simply couldn't attract any decent players. He isn't due any extra respect, but he certainly isn't due the rubbish some are posting. The lad came at a difficult time when we were quite simply terrible, lets all move on
