I reckon the flight prices to Perpignan will be at their highest now, with the fixtures just coming out, as a lot of people will be booking now. The flight to Perpignan this year on the Friday from Manchester wasn't that full, and I reckon it might have been cheaper nearer the time. I booked mine when the flights and fixtures were announced, and I don't think it was as expensive again.

£120 Manchester to Perpignan return sounds reasonable.

When deciding on super league franchises, the RFL/SLE may consider adding to there rediculous lopsided equation, -1 point for not being able to announce fully your fixture list at the start of the season, for the benefit of travelling supporters!!
Teams are punished for not providing a high enough standard of stadia/facilities for fans, what about shifting a game 100 miles, and all the costs incurred? Call me old fashioned I'd rather get wet than hike to another ground to watch the game!!!

A lot of people on here myself included stay at the Hotel Aragon in perpignan except for last season when it was fully booked with a music festival in the city. Its cheap pricewise clean and comfortable the manager's name is Alain and for an englishman has got the best French accent ever

nothing is too much trouble for the man and I am positive that plenty of people on here will recomend it. The tel. no. is (33) (0)4 68 54 04 40 otherwise as Sandal Cat says the Citea is also vg and is comparable pricewise unless with this being its 1st full season open the price has gone up hth.

Has anyone stayed at the Malibu Beach Resort in Canet. Thinking of giving it a try rather than staying in Perpignan as usual.

Of course that's if its not played in Montpellier - I wish they would confirm the venue.

It's been officially announced the Catalans game is to be played in Bridgend to help expand and promote the game in South Wales.

stayed there this year, it's not bad at all, it's not exactly a beach resort as it's a good 25 - 30 minute walk into canet itself and to the beach.
Wouldn't be gutted if we end up there again this time around.
Deffinately prefer to stay in canet though, absolutely beautiful place.

We booked flights for the Quins game last year Fri-Sun for the Sat game and they changed it to Sun night!! Sky did anyway

An yone booked with BMI Baby from Manchester. The Friday flight leaves at 19.20 and does not get into Perpignan until 22.35 - loss of a day - hardly worth going Friday.

Looks like Saturday or fly into Girona or some other Airport as cannot do Thursday.

we are on the 07:10 bmibaby flight from mancs to perpignan, couldn't see the point on the friday night flight and saturday morning was cheaper too.

I booked the Thursday BMI flight Manchester to Perpignan.Return on Monday.

Think/hope i covered all eventualities with regards the day of match.

Thinking of going out Friday with Ryanair, Leeds to Montpellier and back with BMI Baby on Monday, Perpignan to Manchester.

If there are 8 doing the Friday CST will transfer us from Montpellier to Perpignan, if not then there is a train down for around £22.00.

Booked an 8 birth caravan on the eurocamp in canet.stayed there this year, fantastic site, Thursday to Thursday £400.00. Flights bmi £89.00. On the beach, fantastic value
