It shows a brave decision from Brian Smith because we were apparently down to the last 18 players with injuries and internal suspensions.
He could have easily played them to ease the pressure but trusted the players he had.

I don't think the result last time will have any bearing at all - we're playing at the level of a decent Championship side, which is exactly what you are, so I reckon it'll be an evenly matched affair; Tim Smith had the capacity to be a class above anyone on the pitch, but he's gone, so that's a real leveller.

As for failing to provide a specimen, you don't have to be the driver to be guilty, as long as the police reasonably suspect that you are. If you're not the driver, it's ten points rather than a ban. If you are ever asked to blow, just blow.

As Smith and Locke are both off contract, a sacking is probably a strong phrase. Not renewed is more accurate I would think.
I thought Lyne was still in contract, Anderson certainly is, so a sacking isn't quite as simple as just deciding you don't like the way they drive.
They would have to go through proper procedure, part of which I doubt is letting half of RLFans know before it's decided.

The answer to this is simple- Both Locke and Smith need to play if we are to beat bradford - they are our best attacking weapons no question. Play them for the next 2 games and get rid at end of season. Did everybody see smith carve up bradford last time we have no player who can do that

The main thing for Locke and Smith is that they are both playing for a deal. As things stand, I can't see either getting a deal they'd be happy with.

Both extremely talented players, but in each case they stand to be remembered for what they could have done rather than for what they did.

The 3 players involved should have had their contracts terminated straight away. Can't see how anyone can defend 4 people in a car travelling from Wakefield to Hull who are all drunk. They could have killed someone. I would rather Trinity play in the lowest league rather than these drunk morons pull on the Red, White & Blue jersey again.

MC has said on twitter that KL has not flown home. I dont like it but beleive we must be pragmatic and use these two players to help ensure survival then get rid.

Smith if playing at his best is worth playing.
Locke, although I really like him, could easily be replaced by Jowett. I really like him.

I would like to see as many 'home grown' players playing on the understanding that it is up to them which league they will be playing in next season.
