| I only read one guy saying that.
Most were relieved and some embarrassed at the situation and some quite understanding of how we'd react.

The boom and bust years at Leigh Centurions that currently see them signing a host of players direct from Super League clubs despite the apparent salary cap for Championship clubs and the overt favouritism for Bradford Bulls does hint at influence of Labour Mp's.Sutcliffe at Bradford and Andy Burnham at Leigh.
Some clubs just seem to be the favourites.
It is certainly wrong.'"
Whoa, hang on there, dont bring us into this farce, dont forget we had the RFL refusing to acknowledge the LSV existed back in 2008 when it was 80% complete ,instead accepting several licence bids including stadium plans on fag packets and Richard Lewis extoling Celtic Crusaders junior development on TV over ours

That's not what the poster wrote in their post. And do you know what the 2014 squad is costing in comparison to the 2013 squad? Please share if you do...
Wakefield obviously decided that the cutbacks they needed to make would have to come from the 1st team, but why does it follow that Bradford HAVE to do it that way?
The new board have drawn up their own budgets (after consulting other SL clubs) and they feel after the recent streamlining that they're in a position that is manageable. Obviously things will remain tight until we're once again receiving the full funding.
I just found it incredibly insulting to see somebody spouting a load of crap about how our spending hasn't changed. Tell that to the poor sods who have recently been made redundant.

| Worry not my dear friends. The bulls won't keep hold of all their players. They've taken a pay cut once already this season (it hasn't even started yet!) and now they're asking them to drop another 10%! Players do to want to play for the club after numerous promises that all is fine. Of they do keep hold of them I really can't see them doing anything. Although only a friendly I think you an read a little in to today's result against Cas.

You had little credibility left before this post - Wakefield have cut as much as can humanly be cut behind the scenes as well as in the playing squad.
The position with the Bulls is that you couldn't pay your debts, have cut and run from them and can now offer 'what we can afford' to those you choose to do business with.
If this is wrong - please go and tell Michael Carter.
If the RFL deal with this in accordance with proper procedure, then we will all move on with our lives. If they don't, and aren't publicly seen to do so, then you, any club relegated in your place and the game itself will live on in the shadow of an unfair and biased system, one for which will be the end for many and the whole credibility of the sport will be thrust into the spotlight once more.
There will be a storm!

my honest opinion is that they shouldn't be even in SL after what they did to the fans first time round,

| On today's showing they will need a points start not deduction.
On a serious note its pretty obvious they have serious problems and a poor team will just add to them, odsal is a soulless place when it's full and lets be honest Bradford isn't a proper rl hotbed despite its success and the numbers will continue to dwindle with an un-successful side.
I can see the rfl brushing this latest administration under the carpet but it won't help them long term the days of bull mania are gone!! There a spent force

| Think what may hit the Bulls hard in the long run, is if the away fans stay away depending on the Bulls treatment.
Would be interesting to hear the 'projected' home attendances to ensure an even keel.

Adeybull is a loquacious apologist for whichever regime happens to be in situ at the time - until they go pop - at which point he comes over all 'I knew that was going to happen' and tries to deflect any wrongdoing onto people who can't respond. This time around the enemy is OK, and he's busy convincing everyone that since he's the only creditor who'll lose out, he deserves everything he gets and the Bulls should not suffer any further penalty.

| Posted this on the VT as well.
Bradford did try to cut their cloth . A lot of wage cuts from top to bottom, redundencies, reduced hours. We lost around 4 of our best players and few others. Yes Carvell has come in and will be a top earner. But he was signed middle of last year and was told he could leave a long with the rest of the squad. I can't the ones weve brought in been on as much money as the ones who left. We will defintely be spending less than last year! Bradford didn't deliberately go into admin, like I've said previously the new owners said right from the off before Xmas that they needed to cut £400k. They said players could leave if they chose.
Unfortunately thy haven't been able to reach an agreement to purchase the club and the security firm which has 1 of 100 shares in the club called in the admin blokes to get the deal
I still think we Deseve a points deduction but I dont believe we deliberately chose to go into admin to wipe off Debts.

Nope the security firm who own 1 of 100 shares put us into admin to get a sale done. Not saying we dont deserve a points deduction but just in response to some who say we've done it deliberately and should be relegated with immediate effect. No rules anywhere that is going to happen so unfortunately the one or two frothing at the mouth are going to be disappointed.
Like I say we deserved a points deduction.

The relegation was the penalty we were going to get if we went into admin, so that's where that comes from , as many on here have said , not a level playing field

The security firm presumably took the action as the bulls were unable to service the debt? Let's not also forget the HMRC winding up order both clear indicators that the bulls were still living beyond their means and hence admin or releasing some players to free up cash being the obvious options
Also, I can't see how someone who owns 1 of 100 shares can put you in admin. Their pursuit of payment could lead to the directors deciding to go the admin route though

| Think the reason why a few people are frothing at the mouth probably goes back to the last time our clubs were in admin.
We went into admin before the season started and had our squad decimated.
The Bulls went into admin about 3 or 4 months into the season and turned down a six figure sum from Warrington for Bateman.
I think I read somewhere that our debt was £250,000, whilst the administrator who was in charge of dealings for the Bulls, ran up a fee for overseeing matters of about £170,000.
This where people see the injustice of one rule for one and one rule for another.
Maybe they can see it happening again.
