There is no rule in the RFL rule book called "The momentum Rule"
It is just used as an excuse for forward passes been missed in fast forward play, it is not a rule and it is purely down to interpretation of the officials, the only way a "Momentum" forward passed can be classed as a valid pass, is if the passer is further down the field than the receiver both when he passes the ball and still further in front when the receiver catches it

Aaasrggggggghhhhhh!!!!!! no the RFL do not have a momentum rule- despite stevo using that phrase. Then again they don't have a gravity rule written down either. It's not a rugby rule its bleeding physics- a basic physical law of the universe.
