I think the quality is not great but the design is. This is what the fans have been crying out for and we now have it, available to buy before Christmas.

Would it bother you that they were made in Bulgaria if the material was different, I suspect not, so why make a fuss about it??

The merchandise has to come from somewhere.
Obviously a deal has been agreed with Macron, quality, style, price etc. and assuning this criteria has been met, then where is the problem.
The days of "made in England" are sadly long gone and we are all culpable of speeding up this process.
The modern way is to produce goods in the country with the lowest cost base without sacrificing quality/ service.
The shirts are well designed and well made and the world has moved on from heavy cotton playing shirts that retain moisture and are easier to grab hold of and make a tackle.

Well that's it mine's getting sent back, I will not except products made in Eastern Europe, no way Jose.

Most items are made from all over the world, so you best empty you house lol, either buy one or don't sick of hearing the moaning, its like listening to big kids, if you don't do this or that I'm not playing, if it's made of this or not that I'm not buying it well it is your choice,buy one or don't lets move on

Why does 'made in Bulgaria' mean that the product is lacking in quality? Are the Bulgarians known for their inadequate shirt manufacturing qualities?

I expect to get shot down but hey ho!!
I've seen them in the shop today and I think they are both terrible.
The quality and shape looks awful, the printing looks cheap.
The whole thing that I was so looking forward to seeing, the home shirt is the design I would have picked, yet it just doesn't work IMO.
I won't ask for the blindfold, just shoot!!

Got both home and away quality not great but will wear them with pride again next year to show my support for the team.

Well I love the shirts and will be purchasing both home and away kits. Home shirt is class just what we've been asking for. For those who for some reason don't like it do what I did last season and buy a training top instead theres plenty of choice and you're still supporting your club. Back to this seasons playing shirts they are the best we've had in years

I got £10 off mine cos i bought early doors, just the tight wads like you who get a £5

Adding to that the range of t-shirts is also excellent the quality seems alright as well but I'm just off to check where it was made to make sure!

Any way i'm holding out to see if the club do produce a retro shirt similar to the Hospice one shown on the other thread. If not i'll see what else I can get in the shop thats not made out of recycled plastic bags.

I'll probably spend the money on a hoody or the retro shirt if it comes off.

Whats up wildy, are people not allowed to not like stuff? as much as i respect everything that is being done to help resurrect our club, i don't blindly have to like this shirt because its for the good of the club, there are other avenues to spend your money that will benefit the club too.
This is the shirt many of us called for, and now we have it, IMO its not very good in many respects, but at least the club has listened, and it should form the base IMO for every home shirt for years to come, but if its OK with you, i won't buy this one.

It appears that personal taste is no longer taken into account by some people on this forum. Very sad indeed.

Taste! What has taste ever had to do with replica shirts.

What people need to remember is the the shirts have two purposes. One to replicate what the players were and thus show visual support from the fans who wear them. Two, it's a way of giving money to the club in a way that offers you something at least tangible whilst relieving you of a lot of cash. Of course the shirts are over priced they are meant to be, that's the whole point. You want VFM go to Matalan, just remember though they don't give a penny to the club, ditto Saville Row if you want taste and quality.

Get a grip folks. If you don't like the shirt don't buy them but remember not to moan when we can't afford X,Y and Z player - because that is the reality of the situation and the collar style or length of band won't really matter.

I'm sure the club has done the best to get the balance between quality and profit right. I'm sure if we had 50,0000 fans we'd have a kit by Addidas but we don't.
