Got my shirt today and even though the sent the next size up it's too small called shop (who were good about it) sending it back and await new shirt and stock. It is annoying but it's the first time the club has used Macron so the way I see it it's a learning curve for both club and fan. But credit to them this is the earliest I've had one.

I wrote 5 email and phoned them 8 times on this very subject prior to the the shirt been passed. I told them that if they wanted to save face and look PROFESSIONAL like them at WIGAN they should make sure that the button holes were at least the size of a 50p piece as per EU and Super league regulations, and that preferably they should be the size of a saucer.

For the buttons to just fit an thus hold the button in place is clearly a breach of operational rule 4884.4 and may very well jeopardise your next franchise application, this along with lack of embroidery will surely be the the final nail in the coffin of WTWC.

A few things that have grinded my gears....

1) The website is advertising the 'players' shirt (which looks outstanding) as the shirt that is available in the shop.

2) Why not produce a 'player issue' shirt and not make it available to the fans to buy?- I would pay £60quid for it as a prefer it to the ones available for sale.

3) I dont mind the collar on the supporters shirt, the thing that has annoyed me is that the shirt appears to has other considerable differences. For example,

i) Poorly fitted sleeves
ii) Logos in a different place,
iii) Logos not the same size
iiii)The red band lower than the players shirt.

The above points prove disappointing.

2. Club gets a good supplier, something requested a lot on here
3. Club get stock in before Xmas, something requested a lot on here
4. Club support supporters with discount
5. Club market shirt well

It's a shame though that the shirt has failed to deliver, for a lot of people, what was advertised; in the words of those renowned 80's philosophers The Blow Monkeys - It doesn't have to be this way.

Yes it is - it was to be based on the original shirt - nowhere did they say it would be identical. Why is this so difficult for some to understand.

Had it been a 19th century copy exact in every way there would be another group bemoaning that. Sometimes I think that some people just want to moan at the club no matter what they do. Frankly IMO (and yes I'm as entitled to one as much as the moaners, something they never seem to recognise when it's coming the other way) it's a bit pathetic - just my opinion you understand.

No complaints here, loving my sky blue away shirt, looks like a modern rugby shirt should, covered in sponsors (marketing dept doing their bit), it seems well made (better than last seasons), you can only get one head through the neck hole.
Massive improvement as far as I can see, and I will probably get the home one before the season starts.

Theyre advertising a shirt which isnt the one you get. Why is that so difficult to understand? Like i said all it took was them for to say on the advertisment that there may be changes.. Saves the dissapointment for alot of people. Some fans cant get to the shop so would have ordered a shirt they saw in the photo. Your right if people dont like it they dont have to get it and i guess some wont

That's exactly what I'm doing, so why is that a problem to you. There seems to be a willingness to criticise on here as if it's a right - which it is. Yet oddly those who retort and defend the club are not allowed the same right to reply - which they do have - how odd.

LG can say what he wants, I'm not stopping him or anyone else. However this is a forum in which all viewpoints are valid not just the ones that suit you. That is not a cotton shirt and has the logo's on. I was referring to a full heritage style shirt - as many of us bought in the classic 60's style a few years ago.
