like you said its great that these kids come up n down the country and follow us but im sure we will both agree that in all probability on Friday they got more protection than they release and their actions could off resulted in a very good kick in for them. Yes mate i understand you loud and clear and thats 100% correct, just feel they need a little guideance, they are not bad lads IMO, just a little silly/giddy but most of us have been there (not the ones who are whiter than white of course) but then again no ones perfect are they.
The question is will they learn from fridays episode and come on board or will they get worse (and again i know it nots all the young lads) and carry on.
I want to give them a chance and not condem them at this stage.

The easiest way to resolve this is for those who were involved to just channel their passion in a different direction. Singing, "sing your hearts out for the lads" shows how much they want to support the players out on the field, and it shows that they were trying to get the rest of us involved in the singing for them.

Its just a pity that they started getting behind the team after the stewards had to step in and after the worst were ejected.
As has been said when they get behind the team they make a cracking atmosphere and bring a lot to the club, its just the other side that spoils it.

| 2 Possible answers to this problem:
1) WiSCA employ someone to be a 'bouncer' on the buses. This 'bouncer' or steward would need to be of decent calibre - one who can gain some common sense in these matters - which seems to go out of the window when the 'yellow coats' come out. (It seems that they could have handled this a whole lot better). This would put the cost of the coach up!
2) At the expense of our own time and enjoyment, some of us 'senior' supporters take the time to explain to these lads the reason to calm down and the consequences of not doing so (i.e. you may be ejected - and barred from Belle Vue if you don't!)
Don't appreciate the problems these lads bring, but they're not the first and won't be the last - so we have to deal with it.
BUT, the way the 'yellow coats' deal with it is NOT the answer - it too is 'antagonistic'!

| I normally have a word with the lads regarding the relentless Swearing in the songs & most of the time they listen & calm it down, But i don't know how many more times i can keep carrying on telling them untill the penny is going to drop.
The young lads help bring a very good atmosphere to the away games & i would not want that to stop,So from now on i will undertake to talking to the lads before our matches & make them relies the harm they could be doing to our reputation

Absolutely - and the atmosphere was brilliant as a result of them. That's why it is sad when all it needs is some calmness and common sense - it's bets for everyone.
Cheers acko - you're a star!

Too right, i did think of leaving this locked but we can't hide from it, it needs dealing with so so outcome is to the clubs benefit.
I think the lads will try to ensure this does not happen again and appreciate that we want them as part of the fan group, a bit of thought for others goes a long way.

| I think the we all hate ull chant was coming from frustration in the first half due to, a wrong decision from the ref, the stewards maybe and the hull fans moaning evertime we made a tackle or everytime we passed the ball there was a cry of forward and i could see many folk getting rather annoyed and joined in with that chant!

I would say 75% of the fans joined in with that and as its been sung alongside "you'll never catch a Cod" and "Sing when you're fishing" IMO is not meant in a nasty way and i doubt anyone from Hull would take it seriously or be offended by it.
The "only sing when your winning" got thrown back at us and is all part of the banter.

Exactly, was a good atmosphere and the sing off with Hull fans was a laugh at times. I have had plenty of sing offs with other fans in pubs etc and its a good laugh and all chants are taking the right way.
As I have said the odd swear word I don't mind but when they keep coming out thats when it goes over the line.
As a club I think we have a very good and sometimes great away following and hope that continues.

Good sensible post!
Think people have heard what apparently went on even I have heard things that I did not see happen.
Everyone uses the odd F word at games and so on, but someone sat in front of me had 2 young children with them and moved because he said the language at times was not appropriate, fair enough! as I could see there point.
Don't not go to the games everyone is welcome, but next time if stewards tell you something then listen other wise the same will prob happen again and let's face it we don't want that to happen.
I have had my fair experience with stewards but quick chat with them and then soon walked away and left us be

| personally I haven't a problem if they use the odd swear word or two, I can also cope with the repetitive songs, but they don't seem to direct they voices to the team, they choose to stand facing other supporters goading them into retaliation,
I fear that it will in turn get someone involved that has nothing to do with them .
so be loud and proud but for the clubs sake if you care use some common sense

| Again beer and segregation cause these problems for me. Without a beer inside them and mingled in with the home fans they wouldn't dare give out foul mouthed abuse/hand signals to opposition supporters.

Top man Acko, i agree this group of lads have helped create great atmospheres in the passed (Barrow/Cardiff) they just need to learn to calm down and maybe not drink as much on they way

exactly!
segration givers them the same bravery i get when slagging off prop forwards form 50 yards away as part of a crowd.
Tricky one though, and something I think those after much bigger gates are going to have to accept, more fans = more numptys, and they will always group together, because its safety in numbers, add alcohol and some teenage females and off you go.
Another point is that by even discussing them on here we are perhaps giving them the attention they crave, however I counterpoint this with the fact we do treat trinity like some private members club sometimes, only welcoming those we want.
RL is a family game as we keep saying, but complete s are usually a member of someones family!

We do, it's a great laugh at home games now! But people have there usual spots at home games so won't go where the singing is.
