Enjoyed it, the young ones did well, Batch and Walker were the pick of the pack

Once again very encouraging signs ,Walker was outstanding Sam Blake also stood out and Elliot Kear did well to go 80 yards. Disappointed with Gibson took wrong option too many times, on this showing won't be in the first team.

To be fair, Gibson hasn't played in ages. Thought he did ok defensively though.

Another good game for Keegan Hirst as well, he'll cause plenty of issues for opposition defences, got a few good offloads out.

Agreed but, Hirst needs adding to the stand out forwards.

In backs was impressed by Mason CB. Not afraid to run it in hard amaongst the big boys. Looks like he has a big heart.

Thought Batchelor looked like the classiest player on the park. Walker and Hirst were a handful. I thought Ackroyd and the 14 stood out amongst the real youngsters.

Anakin put in a long stint but didn't stand out much.

However for such a young lash up of a team to come away from a strong Dewsbury outfit was comendable.

Yep I was stood with your mate throughout this game and the Anakin love affair is over, Batch is the new love child.

Batchelor was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch, looked confident and composed. I thought Moules looked sharp in the first half and was crisp around play the ball. Ackroyd has a nice pass on him and put Batchelor through a few times but needs to put some size on. Liam Senior worked hard in attack and defence.

Personally I thought Hirst went better against Leeds and I still think it could be mid season before he comes into his own. I do think he's very willing and appears to have a strong work rate. Walker again looked okay against lesser opposition, but I'm not convinced he's got enough to do it regularly at Super League standard.

Overall it was an entertaining afternoon and proves that our youth system is the best it has been for some time.

I thought Elliott Cain looked really good until he ppicked up an injury. Two scores, took two high bombs in the ingoal area, good for a 17 year old. Batch was outsrtanding.

love affair not over with Anakin, Was very interesting to see that he is carrying a lot less size, Not sure if this is deliberate or as a result of the injuries sustained last season and in the car crash not allowing him to train but he played 70 mins having been out for months, Great to see some of the shots him and Luby Walshaw were putting on each other. MOM for me was Walker who had a great game.
