| I'm confident he'll be a great addition for you. I hope you take Phelps, too. A top bloke and would have been happy to have him stay at Hull.

Heard that one a few weeks back. Cas fans reckon hes signed an improved two year extension, or more like hope hes signed it. Don't claim to be in the know re Cas but it will be very interesting seeing how things develop this off season. Things looking good for us, should be challenging to get in the 8 next season.

| hope agar plays washey at 13 for you guys, was very unlucky in the 2008-9 seasons when he had to fill in at 6 and 7, keep him away from there and he wil be a good signing

| I don't understand why Agar would sign the players from Hull that he barely plays.
He ruined Washbrook by constantly playing him out of position in favour of playing other players out of position in his favoured position. I just don't get why he'd sign him?
Same as Dowes. Why would he sign a player that he had as fifth choice prop last year? I don't get why all Hull's rejects would be targets of the coach that effectively rejected them?

1. Maybe his hand was forced at Hull, in terms of which players to sign/pick etc, as the rumours suggest?
2. Don't worry too much - it's our problem now.

Hampered by our coach who choose to play a prop at 13.
Danny could be a good player but Agar had ruined him playing him at 6 and 9 instead of 13.
The fact he choosse to play Lee Radford at 13 yesterday instead of washbrook tells it's own story.
If you get him playing over period of time at LF you could have yourself an very good SL player, in 2006 he looked like he was going to be a great player, England player and future Hull captain IMO.
Great guy off the field also.

Hull are crying out for 2 quality halfbacks put them in the team and we see a different Hull. I am sure they will address it and I hope this does not mean Obst is heading back to us

Agreed - they've got the same malaise we have at the moment - decent build up play, but no decisive finish. Their last tackle options were as aimless as ours have been this season.

| Moore needs to step up this 2012 season and direct play. I would be happy with him to have a starting shirt.
If Obst were to come it we would look slightly better for 2012. If only because he is solid and not makeshift.
Dowes I'm not too fussed. Could do a job maybe. Seems props a bit thin on ground at minute. Maybe trout will get a chance to step up here?

| I would like to see a NRL standard half alongside Wildie at 6. I think Wildie is ahead of Moore in the pecking order and deserves a sustained run in the halves with an experienced partner. I think the prop situation will be sorted out if we get in Amor and Dowes, with possibly Raleigh as cover. By the sounds of things Trout is seen more as a loose forward now.

| The issue for me is Wildie has played mostly at hooker this year.
I would say both are at similar points in their careers. Tough choice between Moore and Wildie at present.
I would go with Moore for the kicking game at present. Depends who we bring in for halfback. Hopefully a nrl standard plater as there seems to be very little available in Uk halfback wise.
Only one I can think of is that Scott porter who has played nrl and would not be on mega bucks.

| I think Washbrook will be a decent signing for you IF played on a regular basis and in the same position, instead of having to be a utility player. Great pro too.
Dowes has given great service to FC and although he's no world beater he has a decent injury record.
Phelps would be a good addition too, I'm pretty disappointed he's leaving us too be honest.

trout seems to be the unlucky one from the champion side , maybe agar will be his savour but i think its last chance saloon this season for kyle . reminds me a little of the ste lewis scenario.

On a similar note I noticed Ewan Dowes also retweeted a message with 'good luck at Wakey' on it.

| Good signing in my opinion. Always liked him.
It bothers me though that this might spell the end for Morrison and/or Howarth. I'd keep them both but if we have to let Morrison go so be it. I'd prefer to keep Howarth though.

Well said! Whilst happy to see Washbrook join, i do hope that it doesn't spell the end for Howarth who has looked potentially a very handy Loose Forward.
