Totally agree - cant stand him - should be banned for life

When Hudson got back into the swing of things after his extended lay off he looked very good. Can't say I've noticed him too much of late, how has he been doing?

As for the non-playing aspect, I'd be more bothered over the him binning us off for Cas first time round than his drugs ban. He's done his ban for that, he's hardly the first and I think it would be naive to believe that he was an isolated case.

Anyway.....back to Millard!

Totaly agree. In every aspect Hudson bears no comparisson. One of my biggest frustrations about JD is the "issue" regarding his age. I have seen no deterioration in his performance whatsoever and if people were not aware of his age then there would be no indication through his performance that he is in "the twilight of his career". One of the things i enjoy most when watching JD is when he goes round a man on the outside sometimes running a big arc - he doesnt look very old to me when he does that!

I've actually been to a few Cas games this season as the brother-in-law is a major sponsor(so its been on a freebie)and in my opinion Ryan Hudson has been pretty poor to say the least,He's missed several tackles that caught my eye that led up to tries to the opposition.

He's had his moment at Wakefield so lets stay well clear,He may offer a bit more of a loose forwards style play than JD but as others state if we want a new loose forward lets get a specialist in that position.

If we could get another out and out second rower i would put Fergy in at 13, but i don't see that happening so tbh i would keep Fergy where he is, he's been a superstar this year, why change it if it works.

As things stand what i would prefer to happen is, we stay clear of Judas, Keep JD at 13 next year and bring Anakin into the fold slowly under the direction of JD and King John.

Not sure he will still be with us next year!

cant agree more con your boys a hero of this club and you and your good lady should be immensely proud of him i know he makes me feel like that every game .

Why is that? Genuine question as he has a year left on his contract and could develop quite nicely in that time!

think annekins head may have been turned to a bigger pond im sure if he wanted to sign he would have been one of the 1st too be offered a contract and thus far he has yet to sign

Completely agree I think JD gets better every year and people go on about his age. When he stops doing the job then we should worry.

There was a period when he went 'off', but he's right back in there now. The club want to give him time to develop AFAIK.

I've never seen Millard play but after reading what people have put on here i was expecting an excellent player, but after speaking to someone who watches him most weeks he says he's not that good and he struggles to get in his current team. However he only had good things to say about Tronc. I dont know whether he is right or wrong i just asked his opinion as ive never seen them play, hopefully Millard proves him wrong

They said exactly the same about Jake Webster when he signed for HKR, and i don't think any club in SL would turn there noses up at him now.
Millard has a lot of raw talent, yes he's not exactly seen as world class over in the NRL but look at some of the talent they produce and how when we send the best of we produce down there it looks distinctly average with the exception of Sir Gaz Ellis.

Millard will be a great signing, from the articles i have read he really comes off as a team player, which is exactly what we want. Welcome on board big lad.

There seem to be a few misconceptions on here that Millard is only a bit-part player. OK ,he is 3rd choice centre at Bulldogs, not surprising when you consider that the 1st & 2nd choices are SOO player Josh Morris and Jamal Idris. I`d can`t see Ryan Atkins displacing those 2 either.
This season he has played 11 games, 9 of which they won, their only defeats 12-10 away to Dragons, and 19-12 at Manly. He played inside Bryson Goodwin, who currently has 18 tries in 18 games so I imagine he`s doing a few things right. Blanch ought to be salivating at the thought of playing outside a centre who actually passes

Not one for overseas players normaly but i think we may have a good player who will fit into the team and the way we play. Blanchy will be happy.
