Hull at home to Hull KR would normally be a no brainer home banker but they're not firing like they were and all the games are getting tighter. My view is they'll get back to winning ways next Thursday and the pressure will be released. It was heartbreaking last night to have it in the palm of our hands and let it slip through our fingers.

It was a wounder - but not the rout that people were expecting; although it does sound like Wane did his special trick of getting his players so fired up for revenge, that they couldn't control themselves. The O'Loughlin sending off was a real nasty incident - he's been cited over 30 times in his career and never been banned; that should be about to come to an end.

All that said - they're a good side and did well to win with reduced numbers; sounds like we were a bit dumb/naïve at the end, and didn't close it out when we had the opportunity.

I like the glass half full comment. I'm gutted we lost on Friday too but what a performance with so many out. I suspect kr won't win both games and we'll be OK. As for Warrington, if the trinity that played so well at Huddersfield turn up we have every chance so lets enjoy this !!

If we play with the commitment of last Friday we'll be ok we don't want to be relying onKR losing HFC look shot and with the rumours of McDermott to KR next season & with peacock connection I can't see Leeds giving it their all. It's in our hands.

Really can't see us losing both games whilst Hull KR win both of theirs, just not going to happen. In fact i'll confidently predict that it will all be decided next week and the game against Cas will be irrelevent as far as qualification goes.

hull kr will win the last game for sure -our only hope is Thursday night very very nervous...... we have fallen over the line if we make it lets be honest and if we were in the bottom 4 with the teams that are in their we would be at best MPG again

Not too sure you are correct with your opening line BOJO4. HKR have Leeds at home yes, but Leeds looked resurgent and a very good side when beating Hull at Hull last Thursday night.

When we started the season, many fans thought we would be collecting another wooden spoon and NOBODY gave us a prayer of making the top 8.
The team have excelled under Chester and we should still make the 8 and we're in a cup semi final.

EVERY Trinity fan should be enjoying where we are as next season will be far tougher.

Leeds wont be in the bottom 4 next season and you have to expect Huddersfield to improve.
Let's get behind the boys and enjoy the next couple of weeks and at least Cas wont have anything to play for in a fortnight so, IF it comes down to that game, it's up to us.

No, absolutely not, and anyone thinking otherwise must have a hell of a lot of confidence or be a bit nuts!

League positions are misleading at the moment. Hull are near the top but going through a bit of a blip, on the other hand Leeds are bottom but going through something of a resurgence. Both Hull and Leeds will be wanting to finish the regular season with some form before the split, however, Hull KR are still not confirmed as to which way they will split and have everything to play for. I can see KR getting the win at Hull and taking it to the final week where anything could happen. I can easily see us having to beat Cas to finish in the 8.

All you say is true but it's still in our own hands unless Hull beat KR then job done.

Truth is we are still way ahead of anything anyone really expected. We are in a way victims of our own success. Apart from a lull in form in June we have played pretty recently. Problem is teams now know they have to turn up to beat us and they are doing and we don't quite have the playing roster to cope.

We really need to forget other teams and concentrate on the Cup Semi and the Casand Cats game.

Hull will not want to do KR any favours and to believe so is just crazy. How many believe Castleford would do it for us and based on recent history we would not do it for them. The same for Leeds they want to finish as high as possible to secure the extra home game, so again it would be crazy to help out a team they are looking to replace.

Still think we can get a result at Catalans myself and then Cas should be a close game but wouldn't matter in the grand scheme if Hull win, or if not, we get the result in France .
As for Hull KR, they've been consistently inconsistent all year and they've also not won 2 in a row all season. They've played a bit better the last couple of games but if Hull have their main players in, I can see them having a bit too much for Hull KR. Hull will also not want to get into any losing streak before the main part of the season starts for the Top 4, so they'll be well up for their big derby. Hull KR also have Leeds last game who have been looking more and more like their old selves, which will be a hard game, as we found out.

What Hull KR will beat Leeds for sure? have you seen how Leeds have been playing of late. They're not the same side as they were earlier in the season, that's for sure. As for your last bit, how do you get that when we've beaten Hudds twice just recently, as well as beating all the other sides once. You could argue we've fallen over the line after we went on a run of wins but then again after the start we had and how low expectations were, we'll have done well this season and that's leaving to one side the CC semi.

I cannot believe some of our pathetic supporters on here,if someone had said 12 months ago you will be top 8 and in a cup semi we would have laughed...credit to everyone involved at the club for such a turnaround

If we finish 8th we finish 8th why put it down.It does not matter when we got our points we got them.Its about how many points you have at the end,Thats how it works.

But that's the point, we're not yet in the top 8 regarding play offs, we need Hull to win or us to beat Catalans or Cas.

A draw in the Hull derby will be enough tonight.
