what you on about been rubbish? the boys worked their nuts off to beat saints away, lost on a few dodgey penalties to cas at home, beat salford away and controlled that game for 90% of the game. don't give a damn what atkins is doing , if he stays great if he goes good luck to him, as long as the lads that are left are happy and we are doing ok . i for one am just sick of hearing about ryan.

you got that wrong mate. i haven't missed a game in years. that means abroad, at home and away, friendlies, challenge cup or super league and what i said was that they weren't rubbish. they lost 1 game on dodgy penalties and the other they won and controlled the game for 90% of the time and played some good stuff.

Don't think we will "miss" Atkins, because the thing with him is that we are always waiting for him to turn into the player we think he can be. It is the potential we are losing, not the actual contribution, and I would be happy to see someone out there doing the business in the season they receive the money, not some hoped-for season in the distant future.

As always, good luck to him. He's never slated Wakey as a club, and we all change jobs from time to time.

It doesn't concern me anymore, two things do though.

1) will ryan give it his all for the rest of the season or not put his body on the line and become withdrawn as a player- ala richie myler.

2) who can we replace him with. TBH i think Martin is too slow now, we need big signing to replace him IMO. However if one that suits, both in terms of ability & cost cannot be found, i would put Gleeson in on one side with JD on the other.

Keeping TM may not be a bad call, he would give cover, both for 3,4 & 6.
But the quota space he takes up could be used in a big signing from the NRL.

Would be happy to see Martin go got enough 'older' players for next season and the fact that he was happy to cut and run to cas says it all for me. Would also be happy to see JD in the centres with Murphy as back up if he ever gets free of injury.
