He hasn’t not been available for selection though he’s just not been getting picked and seems to have recovered from the ACL.

All signings are a risk but he will dominate Championship with his carries out of our 20/30 and tried running the unders line from 10m.

He’s been stuck behind king and Wardle, who are possibly the top 5 best centres in SL. That’s no shame as both are quality. We finished the season with Croft and Lynn, Thornley is certainly an upgrade on both of these. Really looking forward to seeing who we get next. With Leeming incoming and O’Neil being a belter, Powell would be great.

Think Powell will end up at Salford or Leigh.

He’s not dropping out of SL for a year or 2 yet, plus we have out 9s sorted.

Mago signed for another year at Wigan, Cust gone to Salford.

Thornley is the kind of signing we need to do well in the championship- aided by some younger players who will no doubt follow.
We have a new Coach and recruitment set up, I’m quite content that they’ve forgotten more about RL player recruitment than I’ll ever know so they get my vote, not the keyboard coaches!

If Thornley can stay fit he will be the best centre in the competition. I was speaking to him prior to the GF and he looks super fit. He is also the type of guy who puts the team ahead of himself. Whilst he was anxious to get back into the Wigan team he realised that the only way that would happen was if somebody got injured and that was the last thing he wanted. Good luck to him.

If I was in charge at Wakefield I would be speaking to Wigan about taking Hill, Eseh, Forber, Shorrocks and Farrimond on loan.

Might not be on every super league teams radar , but a very good player nonetheless , big powerful unit ,will add some size and experience to our squad

I see the negative nellies and touchline coaches are quickly and predictably back out in force, knowing better than a top coach and stating the obvious about fitness. Ellis in charge for less than a week and he's already disappointing some. I'd like to say I'm shocked, but far from it. If I were him I'd have saved my cash and bought another Ferrari. In the mean time you carry on building the club up to the public and getting them back on the terraces, oh wait a minute.

With the signing of Thornley and others, let's not forget we are a championship club. I am more than happy with every signing so far . Also I think some of them are better players than the ones we had whilst in SL.

Plus it's early days, the squad is still being assembled and I am sure we will assemble a very good squad. We now have people running the club who know far more about rugby. The club is also being run in a far more professional manner, onwards and upwards, good times ahead.

What people are forgetting is we are doing business proper late due to the takeover. Mills has mentioned this, so the club should be commended with what they are doing.

Happy with this, I think he is a better and any we had last season and should go well in the championship

I'm happy to see how the team pans out but people are allowed to say whether they like the signings or not.

What’s happening with Lyne, Croft, langi?

We are short on forwards and ideally need some props. Is Issac Shaw staying or is he goi g back to Aus?

He was in France temporarily last year not Aus. Strangely we didn’t see him play last season.

We have about 10 confirmed so we need players in every position still.

With a SL budget almost every plsyer we sign should be of SL quality or potential.

He’s a big unit, the Wiggin fans seemed to hate him when we played them a won and he left the field early but I’m sure he’ll do well for us with a regular spot.
On your basis Luppy, how does Hampshire fit that profile having hardly played last year. Some people just live to moan.

I hope Powel does for you what he did for Cas, You will surely be a force next season ,If you sign Thornley and Jerry you will certainly get some tries. Jerry has not got a bad record injury-wise he did have one bad one which he completely recovered from other that that he has just had the odd one here and there like most players get, TJ didn't have the best record at your place but look at the season he has had in France. I wish we had kept Jerry personally but hey ho he will be a great signing for you and good luck next season
