Unfortunately this win only papers over the cracks. We've still got a clueless coach in charge, our defence is still woeful, we have got an extra game to play, certain players won't be dropped regardless of being non existent on the pitch. One good thing is that the returnees from injury didn't pick up anything, though I bet that ll come later in the training.

Won by nearly 30 points against a team that thought they were going to turn us over. Could have been a lot worse.

Miller created one try end of first half with a run at the line but didn't create a great deal. Team played a lot better second half. Ali, Scruton and Kirke played well with Kirke scoring twice. Didn't know why Smith tried to kick penalty.

Washbrook try in corner was a good one. Overall pleased with win something to work on. Need positivity some WTW fans in ground were complete moaning d***heads even when winning, shouting abuse then cheering Fax?.

Ahh! Sense at last.
Webster proved a point tonight, that even without Godinet and Sammut in the team we still managed to win quite easily in the end.
If they had played and got injured, people would have been saying 'why has he played them against a Championship side, that we should be able to beat without them?'.
Webster can't win no matter what he does, in some people's eyes.

May be those fans still think there is something not right with the players. I personally believe Webster is starting to lose the dressing room but that's just my opinion.

Next week will tell us plenty about this team. We won't beat Wigan but we should be competitive and give them a game. They will put plenty of pressure on us and how we dig in for the full 80 will show us what they are made of.
