Would far prefer to have a second team league than dual reg, would make it far easier to develop younger players, maintain squad fitness levels, get players back to match fitness and all while playing to the same system as the first team so lads can slot straight in when required.

Totally agree - but SL clubs were allowed to vote to abolish it as a money saving exercise; hence the ridiculous spectacle of Kylie Leuluai playing for Hunslet last year. It blocks the pathway for young players at those clubs and creates an unfair advantage for those teams that are able to snag superior players on loan/dual reg. It's potty.

The week before he was injured and not down to play, but due to an injury to Williams in the warm up against the giants, he played with pain killers.

he was 100% going to play for us against batley he wasn't injured, he got pulled to replace Williams

Don't want to get involved here as it's not really my business, but unless Waney is a fortune teller as well as a coach it's unlikely he would have kept Hamshire back knowing that Williams would pick up an injury 2 or 3 minutes before kick off.

You guys definitely have him for a month after that I think we'll call him back (easter period). Think hes getting his match fitness and we're preparing for easter. Glad to hear he is doing well, a solid player from when Ive seen him play, doesn't make mistakes or give penalties and gets stuck in. A good lad
