Mentioned this tongue in cheek last week. Trinity should've insisted he take up the contract then sell him on to the highest bidder (if he wanted out of the deal that is).

Maybe, but as well as being the honourable thing I think we have saved ourselves from being tied into another expensive contract that we just couldn't afford.

I think the question was not whether Tuson still wanted to come, but rather whether he could afford to walk away from our contract. If he's found a similar deal at Hull, he'll take it!

Heard an interview with Bolton football chairman the other day. They "signed" a player who then decided to change his mind. They ended up getting a decent fee for him. Turns out the paperwork had never been signed off he was never officially a Bolton player.

Hopefully Tuson might come. But if was to go you wouldn't choose FC most players that have gone to KC have gone backwards if you ask me. Would be looking elsewhere if was him and think he could do better.

The 'journalist' in YOUR paper wrote about hijack - take it up with him/her.

I agree not really a hijack, however I do think he is swapping one potential car crash for another one, maybe not in the same way but it's not what I would call a safe option.

Yes we have and as pointed out by others I didn't suggest it was hijacked it was the journalist in your local rag that did that.

Car crash? Not sure how, ok we haven't challenged for a few years, but we are in the best position for years off the field, just finished 6th twice and got to wembley. I think hull is a pretty option. Personally I am not convinced Tuson is the type of player we need, we have plenty of good defensive, hard working forwards.

I'd suggest nothing, he was free to negotiate as far as I know.
