I said it wouldn't surprise me to snatch one against one of the form teams, fancied Catalans because their form hasn't been as good as Wigans, but man did we balls it up tonight, when it was literally there for the taking. Chester needs to get them in a positive frame of mind again for next Saturday.

Hull now need to win for their own confidence and will not want to lose for a third time especially against Hull KR.

Hull seem to have dropped off the intensity, lets hope they get it back for the HKR game.

Hull are struggling without Ellis and Minnichello firing. They also have two clowns with boot lace pony tails who both look and play like Harry Seacombe.

I'm also thinking that Rovers would not want to be beaten a third time in the derby this season.

Every chance they could, still there's every chance Trinity will get something out of the last 2 games too.

Huddersfield did'nt want to be beat by us 3 times either

I was thinking more about pride. There's more pride at stake in the Hull derby than the feud between us and Hudds.

Our destiny is in our own hands and clearly, we are in a better position than KR who, not only have to win their last 2 games (against Hull FC and a rapidly improving Leeds) AND hope that we get done twice).
I know who I would rather be in that scenario..

We have every chance of picking something up against Catalan or Cas and we still go back to , just how far Wakefield have over achieved this season.
Obviously we need to improve our right side defence, where a 12 man Wigan scored pretty much all their points but, we can have our best SL season so far and IF we can get past Warrington in the cup, it could be a truly magnificent season.
All to play for and a massive 3 weeks coming up for Trinity. This is as good as it's been for 20 years and although a bit nervy, we should all be enjoying whats happening, it could be a long wait for another season like this one.

There is also Castleford to consider, they're still below us and lose tomorrow are also in danger of being caught. Hull at home to Hull KR would normally be a no brainer home banker but they're not firing like they were and all the games are getting tighter. My view is they'll get back to winning ways next Thursday and the pressure will be released. It was heartbreaking last night to have it in the palm of our hands and let it slip through our fingers.

It was a wounder - but not the rout that people were expecting; although it does sound like Wane did his special trick of getting his players so fired up for revenge, that they couldn't control themselves. The O'Loughlin sending off was a real nasty incident - he's been cited over 30 times in his career and never been banned; that should be about to come to an end.

All that said - they're a good side and did well to win with reduced numbers; sounds like we were a bit dumb/naïve at the end, and didn't close it out when we had the opportunity.

They are a dacent side, but there is no way you should lose from the position we were in against 12 men, but we found a way to do it.

Yes the team we put out did a great job for 79 mins and lost it in 1.

I like the glass half full comment. I'm gutted we lost on Friday too but what a performance with so many out. I suspect kr won't win both games and we'll be OK. As for Warrington, if the trinity that played so well at Huddersfield turn up we have every chance so lets enjoy this !!

If we play with the commitment of last Friday we'll be ok we don't want to be relying onKR losing HFC look shot and with the rumours of McDermott to KR next season & with peacock connection I can't see Leeds giving it their all. It's in our hands.
