I know he had a couple of shockers but so did all the team pretty much. Then he disappeared and the assumption was it was due to his attitude, but was that actually the case? Didn't it turn out he was just injured? Hope it was and his head is right for next season. Not full back for me, centre or wing

Hall had a hernia operation it was troubling him at the start of the season, he tried to play through it but it got worse. So in my book deserves another chance for next season.

The only one I worry about is Howarth as the 14 hooker, but I guess Smith could be asking Sio to do a Roby 80 minutes.

I do feel like we might make the team lighter with some loans out as well.

Anthony Tupou has made his name running good lines on the edges. I would expect him and Kirmond to play 2nd row with Simon/Arona/Molloy/Annakin possibly starting at 13

Forwards look excellent, still not sure about Finn but a vast improvement on last years squad.

I'm a huge Finn fan but if he dos get bust we are a bit thin - I reckon we need another H/B or a hooker who can cover.

Moore hasn't been announced yet. He's a Cas player right now.
And for me, Gibson and Arona will be in the 13
And Sio will play hooker

Howarth played hooker for us, Salford and Saints so some cover there.

It is good to have various options.

Here is another. Several have said that ideally we need another half back to provide cover/competition.

If we were to bring one in, if they were to be a good half back, then we could even maybe play Finn at 9, and Sio at 13.

But he didn't play it well.

I think we also need to cover goalkicking options - Hall was probably our main kicker at the start of the year but was erratic after a good start (like the rest of his form) and the other options are Arundel, Miller and Finn. Not sure any of these are considered to be A+ goalkickers though. Its a bit of a weakness

I thought Howarth was OK at 9 to be honest.

I don't like Sio at 13. It's ok as cover but our pack strength changed when we played Molloy and Simon in the back row and in particular when we played Simon at 13. Size matters to us and we have an abundance of big back rowers now. No point putting a smaller guy out of position in that spot.
As was pointed out Kirmond and Tupou run opposite sides of the field so will work well together. Molloy, Simon, Arona and maybe Annakin would all fit at 13 before Sio.

I'm aware of his limitation but VFM is spot on - he's just a really sensible signing not a world beater.

correct and every team has sensible players in them, no one fields a team of out and out superstars in every position.

Sensible players are the oil in the engine and go about facilitating play while the Tupou's and BJBs of the team do the game breaking, eye catching stuff

He's played for 6 different clubs since he left us in 2011. That's suggests he hasn't been very good for any of them.

By 6 do you mean Featherstone Dewsbury and Cas.
I'm pretty sure Fev wanted to keep him but Cas gave him a shot back in Super League so an upward move.
He went to Wembley, played a lot of games leading Cas and captained Ireland against Australia.

Got to go with Vastman on this one, been at Saints and Salford and also at Hull, so not really 'a not very good player'.
You don't stay in SL unless you got a bit of something about you.
Maybe a victim of his versatility, that he can do a job when asked.
Unfortunate to get injured not long after he signed, give him a chance under BS?
