If, heaven forbid, the call went the wrong way, I can imagine the derisive comments from a section of Wakefield fans towards The Government, the Club & even SWAG members.

The latter have worked tirelessly over many years, just for their love of the club, and whilst, if things go well, their efforts should be rightly lauded, a wrong call & they will be the scapegoats & open to a torrent of abuse from certain posters.

Build them up & knock them down – it’s the English way.

Sadly thats very true but it would be a minority of posters.

If as you say "god forbid" something went wrong on NM, I certainly can't see SWAG getting any criticism at all.
The Club may (wrongly IMO) and the government certainly would.
Only a madman (and I concede there are some) could denounce SWAG as anything other than a positive influence on NM, or anyother development for that matter.

Seem to remember they did recieve a fair bit after the Thornes fiasco, you'll always get a few.

If/when the time comes, it may well be others who get the plaudits, and for the future development of the club, it may be necessary to see it that way. However, for anyone who's followed this story from the beginning and made their own contributions in support, it's obvious that the praise must go to those who came up with the idea in the first place and saw it through.

It shouldn't have been this way, but it was. No point arguing the whys and wherefores. Let's hope it's a positive decision.

Just read on my wall planner that the 20th of june is the first day of summer, making the 19th the last day of spring.
Lets all hope its also the last day of all this nonsense and that we can "spring" forward into the "warmth" of a "bright" new future, following our "winter" of discontent!!
