| They seem over priced for what you get. How much do they cost to produce and ship? The profit margin must be huge and I bet most of that doesn't go to the club either.

I think that your wrong on that one. The profit margin will be pretty good, but this will go towards the clubs overheads/ costs.
As I mentioned earlier, the fans have saved a packet on season tickets, so buying a little more than usual in the shop shouldn't be unreasonable.

| Can't believe the amount of moaning. The club have listened to the fans and asked the supplier to produce the kits to their liking. The material and I'd imagine general shirt design (ie collar) are probably out of the clubs hands. tried one on at the shirt launch and I didn;t think it was of particularly poor quality. Admittedly the Kooga shirts were probably the highest quality we've had but for me they were a bit too thick for wearing during in summer months. Get behind the club and buy some merchandise, even if its a T-shirt rather than a playing shirt, lets fill the terraces with masses of red white and blue!

| Have to admit that despite not been overly impressed with the quality it didn't stop me buying one of each! They aren't that bad by any means, just for £45 could be a little better. Still doesn't detract from the fact that its the best design we have had for years.

| Shop was packed yesterday! Loads of people trying to pick up season tickets without receipts or letters though, which ended up causing massive queues. I think both shirts look better in 'real life'. Staff were saying the shirts are selling out fast, think James Elston also said that shirts are selling faster than ever.
Looks like the club have made a good and popular choice with the fans. Obviously you can't please everyone though!

| Went yesterday too - business looked very brisk !
Picked up our 3 tickets & then went on a spending spree ...probably spending more than the tickets had originally cost
Bought both shirts - prefer the home one myself - but they'll be spot on in the summer

This was a right pain when I went in. Don't go into Wakefield much these days so just called in for my season tickets whilst shopping but didn't have a piece of chuffin paper on me with my address on it! Dozens of credit cards with my name on though, including the one I purchased the tickets with. For any other purchase in my life I would've just told them to stuff it and get my money back! Having already ignored the Agar issue before renewing my membership this was another chuffin obstacle!
Club have lost the potential shirt purchases though. Mixture of madness and lack of discount vouchers.
I'm not sure how to get these tickets in the future but I certainly won't be trailing into the Ridings again for them.

Its seems we have a few issues, partly down to the club and partly down to the fans way of doing things from the old days I reckon all in all the club have done really, the little problems can be ironed out for next season.

| Not sure what the problem is regarding picking season tickets up. Managed to get mine today despite the fact that I hadn't intended to pick it up. Imagine my surprise that I was able to do so with just the normal stuff I carry round every day in my pocket!

| Picked up my season ticket yesterday - easy, organised and despite being very busy all staff cheerful and helpful. Actually better than most other stores in the Ridings. Got a shirt as well and they're selling like hotcakes - can't be bad. Well done everybody.

| I bought mine over the phone, and just brought my ID with me. ATEOTD the club gave enough information about season ticket pick ups. I think next year they should 'digitise' the whole system though, the lasses working at the ridings (which was difficult for me to get to not knowing Wakefield City Centre, not to mention how rammed the car park was) were moaning about not getting their lunch breaks
I also think the website needs some attention, can't buy any of the new gear yet, or buy tickets for the Boxing day game. For those of us who don't live in the Wakefield area the club website is quite an important resource which is still quite poorly maintained. Not to mention the money the club is missing out on. Don't want to be negative but it's an issue that needs to be resolved if the club want to become a more professional outfit.

I read a message some where from Glover saying the Shop site was getting a overhaul because he knows it's not up to scratch.

I know for certain that the club are very aware of the shortcomings of the current e-commerce system they have in place; my understanding is that they are making do until the move to NM, when the whole system will be integrated - website, e-commerce, ST's, turnstyles, database etc etc.
The cost of doing all that at BV is prohibitively expensive, so they're making the best of what they've got.
