The let down with the shirt is, the badges are all printed and makes the shirt cheap looking.

Just got mine today and i am happy. The only thing that i dont like are the buttons in the collor which only just seem to fit through the button holes. Also the sizes are a small fit but other than that i am happy with the shirt.

Narr they were on about it today on radio 4

Whilst most supporters are bleating like crazy about the stupid designs they have been given, we have been given two plausable variations on historic themed shirts which are quite nice actually.

The club got panned before for not having a 'proper' collar, so hey - we've got one.

And, if anyone doesn't like it - take it back, without use, in good time, and their not exactly difficult to talk to and persuede to exchange or whatever - there are plenty of things to swap for.

Pick, pick, pick, pick..... FWIW the club had a late cancellation on their order with ProStar, had to negotiate with a brand new company, have the shirts in the shop 4 weeks before Christmas and have the best and largest range of other clothing that they have ever had on a design that most SL fans consider to be way better than their own.

This is just typical of this forum in that the negatives get plenty of postings and the positives get next to zilch.

Like i said a simple sentence at the bottom of the page when they were released and problem solved. Cant do no wrong again

last season shirt was poorly made, this seasons looks a better design but we are back with printed rather embroided, you aren't going to please all the fans all the time and this puts me off,

you need to calm down having a go at fans for having an opinion
I don't think its a case of do we back our club or what, just being on the side lines will prove that

None taken. It just seems frustrating that most fans when it was released loved the shirt ( going off the players picture ) myself included. No mention of any different shirt to the one shown yet the club " urge " you to pre order as not to be dissapointed. Now its a different case when you see the one you actually get and i apreciate some like it but it seems alot dont. just the little things that get peoples back up, something that could have easily been resolved

It really bugs me that this internet world - of which I am part - leads to people being uber-picky about every little thing. We have a good shirt, with a good design, but that does not come through on this thread, and yes, I agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion - even me!

Never said anyone wasn't - but there is a thing called perspective!

I'm sure there will be similar threads picking every fault with the stadium when it's built - but I'd far sooner have one with faults than not have one at all!

the club needs its coffers and the club shop is the way to bring in that, changing the design to the original and then excepting orders doesn't seem right, FWIW I like the neck collar on both but for years we have had printed and then we get the embrioded one from Googa and since then all have compared against it

This is what life is like mate. To be fair you don't get a load of comments when stuff are done properly, because thats how it should be done.

I ordered medium home and away shirts and got large cos they are apparently small fitting. This to some people would be a good thing for the club to do, but I now have two shirts which aren't the size I ordered and are too big.

I live in Stockport so had to pay a fiver to get them delivered and now have to try and sort out sending them back and getting the sizes I ordered in the first place.

I tried to call the club shop today but got no answer and tried 3 separate times (not sure if there open on a monday, but i need to sort it out before they run out of mediums again!!)

IMO a shirt is a shirt, dont matter what it looks like or what its made of, collar etc, if it says Wakefield Trinity on it i will buy it and wear it, end of

I think in switching the shirt they had the right motives, but it was wrong to do it without your consent and IMO they should refund the postage as a result.

The early pictures of the shirts were of the only ones at the club. There was tremendous pressure to get them out there and start selling - as you can imagine - and, in reply to the previous comment - yes, it would have been better if there had been an explanation about the collar.

FWIW I prefer the collar on the replica's, but I recognise that some don't.

Snowie - I'm just highlighting that it can come across that we don't at times, but I know that's not true at all - it's a bit like the family thing - we can all be cruelest to the people we love the most! And yes, my fav shirts were the ones by Kooga - but their designs this year are truly shocking and therefore I am glad we don't have them now.

I can agree with that, if the shirts looked like some of the atrocities Kooga have turned out over the last three years I wouldn't even consider buying a shirt regardless of the quality.

I'm happy with the design and thats what's perhaps swaying me to keep it. Just not happy with the cheapness of it. I'd like to think i'm not one of the moaners who do nothing but whine on here so my 'criticism' is out of disappointment rather than relishing an opportunity to attack the club.

It's got to the point with the shop that I don't even have to mention how I prefer the cut cloth and embroidery shirts as was rather than the printed versions we have now. I am assured that there is as much, if not more, value in printing them this way as for the cut and stitch mode, but that doesn't stop us preferring them - but hey, a lot of us would still prefer a cotton shirt with a full collar, and that's not going to happen for under £75 a shirt so it's a non-starter - except for a fashion item, which would be nice in the red and blue shirt!

Are the shirts as "slim fitting" as they look,i'll need a 5XL but not sure with the shape if it's gonna nip on my gut!!!
