thats pretty poor that they cannot get a team together,we had to re-arrange a game cos shaw cross couldnt field a team 3 weeks ago, yet their are a couple of teams in group 2 that are winning easy every week who must be pulling their hair out at not been given a chance,last week i watched lock lane beat eastmoor 28-8 and the scoreline flattered eastmoor.

u11s and u12s is a real crossroads for some sides,its now that we are moving towards the more physical side of the game and some kids just cannot handle it and decide that its not the sport for them and move on.

Stanley 11s beat eastmoor by 10 tbf where a far better than 10 points victory . it may of taken some time but the the lads are linking up well . some of the trys were from super plays and the posistional aspects are beging to show more as they get older.

mind you the under 9s drew 10 all and for atmosphere and just genral feel id have under 9s any time. great game . with liccle mutts getting top tackler for the umpeteenth time this season.

we were beat 28-26 at east leeds yesterday 5 tries a piece but you win some and you lose some we didnt play bad to start with but we have a big squad with a lot of players who are new to the game and thats when things go wrong for us when they come onto the field but its the only way they will get better.

another team now asking to be dropped from the 1st div in the under 13s,
Newsome Panthers which was told that they would be able to hold their own in this division have ask to be dropped down,

this has got to be the worst start to a league Crigg All Blacks, Hunslet Warriors, Stanningley, Fev lions, East Leeds and now Newsome Panthers, starting to get confusing as results will be taken away and games to catch up will pile up

now learned the Driglington have dropped down a division,

big win for the Stanley Rangers U13s 48 -8 over Cas Lock Lane at their place,
from the start of the kick off 3 tries with out any tackling put them 14 - nil down within minutes,

its a very hard lessen learned and hope that they don't ask to go a league down

cas panthers u11s travelled to stanley with the panthers winning 18-22, a very entertaining game despite some odd refereeing.i thought we deserved the win in the end despit stanley finishing strongly.

Crigg u11's lost today at Stanningley by 16-4 . Not dissapointed in the slightest though , we've always looked a bit overawed in the past with the size and aggression of Stanningley but they all stood up to it today and there was some great rugby from both sides . Just a couple of mistakes either side of half time and it could of been different - no complaints though ( quite a happy and welcoming atmosphere too , which makes a change over there

).

Stanley U12's beat Oulton Raiders on Saturday morning - not sure if it'll go down as a Stanley win though, since the Oulton coach and parents managed to persuade the young ref to chalk off a first half conversion after the game was over, making it a draw.



A poor first half from Stanley but once the lads found a bit of belief in the second half and started chucking it about, they dominated the game; hopefully, more of that to come.
