Hey, personally I couldn't care less as I don't buy them for there aesthetic - it just seemed to be the thing that got most posters, yourself not included obviously - just shows how difficult it is to please even our relatively small fan base.

Just seen the shirts in the shop in the Ridings.

My first reaction on seeing the photographs on the internet wasn't particularly good but I reserved judgement until I'd seen an actual shirt.

Having seen the shirts in the flesh I think they looks pretty good and the photographs don't do the background/watermark justice.

If you have seen an actual shirt and don't like it that's fine but if you are basing your judgement on the photographs then re-evaluate your opinion when you have seen an actual shirt because I like them both.

Called in the shop this morning to see what all the fuss was about. Look much better in the flesh I prefer the home one.

Just wanted to make a further comment on my visit this morning to the shop and how impressed I was with the overall atmosphere in there. MC's other half was serving and in the 2 minutes i was in she sold a rather nice new burgundy colour polo shirt to a customer and chatted away to him. She then chatted with a family about the baby range and had a quick word with me about what I was looking for. As I left she was chatting with an elderly lady about the launch night and was warmly inviting her along as a valued season ticket holder.
I have been buying at the shop since it opened buying for myself, my husband, our daughter and gifts for the rest the family often spending the best part of £100 and on previous visit have felt deflated as I left after a cold un-personal transaction.
The shop has some great new additions for the season one in particular stood out more than any others, good old fashion customer care making the customer/fan feel valued.

Thought the shirts looked good on here and having seen them in the shop today both shirts look equally as good and when others see them close up a lot will change there mind and want to buy one, the other merchandise on offer is also quality as well.

Or don't buy it - just don't justify not buying it by moaning about the design or the colour or some other aesthetic imperfection; as for objecting to sponsor logos - I'm guessing a fundamental and basic lack of understanding of how sports clubs are funded is the root cause?

I'll justify it by moaning about the design as that, along with the lack of quality again, is the reason i'm not buying it. If people want to pay premium prices for what is in my opinion (theirs may differ, i accept that) a poor looking, shapeless, effort just because it has a badge screen printed on it then good on them, i've done it many times before myself and i wouldn't call anyone for doing so. But not any more, i like value for money more these days thanks. I'll have a look at some of the other merchandise over the course of the season instead and see if that fits the bill instead but i feel the club has missed out here as i doubt my spend will be the ninety quid it would normally have been and the Mrs also doesn't like either shirt so won't get one for the first time in many a moon. And the chances of her buying anything else from the shop are zero so it's all lost revenue i'm afraid.

That's entirely your prerogative theboyem; I do question the meaning of 'value' in this context however. Personally, I buy a shirt, chuck it on over whatever exceptionally stylish and carefully chosen top I'm wearing on match day, then take it off when I get home and forget about it until next week. Anyone buying a Wakey shirt as a key item in that years capsule wardrobe, with the intention of wearing it to social occasions and possibly the odd wedding or christening, could rightly feel that it wasn't fit for purpose - but that's a bit like buying a Nissan Micra for towing your caravan, then complaining that it's not up to the job.

I've had issues with the quality of Macron gear in the past and if it's a deal breaker for you, so be it - but if everyone takes that attitude, there'll certainly be none of the mid-season signings that people seem to be hoping for.

It’s daft business practice to alienate potential consumers, particularly when you got to sell circa £100k worth of kit.

Still, here’s hoping the cotton shirts due for release after Christmas are more appealing to mop up the supporters who don’t purchase the plastic bag replicas.

By seeing what he wants to see, or what MC retweets. I'd say from what i've seen it's 50-50 which i would have thought is a quite low hit rate for a replica shirt.

I have to say there are some shockers throughout superleague this year so it won't stand out as bad as it might have done. And at least it's not the Cas, Leeds or Huddersfield shirts which are horrendous.
