Cannot understand what all the fuss is about.
As a kid was able to walk as lived near Kirkgate station.
Since being married lived at Crigglestone,Altofts,Stanley and Upper Cumberwoth.
Therefore always had to use car in my adult life.
Most of my mates also travelled/still travel similar distances.

It is something that needs to be considered though, more people using their cars means less income from alcohol sales.
A good public transport plan will help keep beer sales up.
Detrimental shifts in revenue can have a negative impact down the line.

What a shallow wreck off a man poor Alfie's turned into. I used to enjoy his comments on here, he did actually bring some balance to the debate when a few of us were getting little over excited (although it was motivated by a deep insecurity and hatred of us). Rather than man up and admit he got it wrong, he choose to play to a small audience of insecure village idiots on their own forum. The fact he won't post his views on here speaks volumes of the guys weak arguments.

Bigalf has migrated to the loony forum, where his audience is smaller but more fanatical; whenever he posts his latest snippet of cryptic negativity, with a soupcon of 'in the know' nose-tapping, the usual suspects line up to clap and hoot like a Jeremy Kye audience, whilst the few who try to bring balance to the debate are branded as 'polecats' or closet WTW fans.

To make matters worse, the last time I checked, the majority of 'hot' topics on there were related to another club - ours. It's rather sad.

The only reason I have stopped posting my views on here is because of the abuse given back in return, from your good self included.

Just to say again, my only objection (Go back through all my posts if you wish) has been to the wharehousing etc on greenbelt, not to the stadium. It's a a pity both go hand in hand. I do admit that I have always had reservations about the "methodology" used in pushing the scheme through.
