Whatever league we are in next season, hopefully it will be without Kear. Sounds like we were even worse than against Catalan. This king of the underdog bull that gets constantly spouted by the press and TV about Kear makes my blood boil. Garbage one out rugby with no offloads. We getting beat anyway, throw the ball about for christ's sake, we are a team of walking tacklebags. God forbid we stay in SL and give him the full cap to spend. Time for change.

Not been tonight as I went to a do but driving and listening to the last 4 minutes James Deighton and Crabtree were saying Wakefield were their own worst enemy for penelties and coughing the ball u. JD said we made Salford look much better than they really are.

Not the first time that our discipline in certain areas seems to let us down but not having been there I dont know if its been an isssue if it was then a team like ours cannot afford to give penalties away as we will be punished. Dropping the ball is getting the basics wrong. The report on how we played sounded like we have been very poor tonight after scoring in the first minute.

Woeful defensively, toothless in attack.
Salford were poor but we made them look like World beaters.

Snowie, having watched this guy tonight i can say, and this is not knee jerk that he's the worst player i've ever seen on a Pro rugby field.

If a player doesnt want to play for the club,the supporters,coaches,board are all happy to see them go,because we want people that want to play for our club.Kear made it blatantly obvious last June that he didnt want to be at Wakefield and wanted to go to Catalan(i imagine the Catalan board breathed a huge sigh of relief that they didnt get him).Yet the same supporters seem to think its ok for Kear to stay even though he made his intentions clear.
IMHO,i cant see the players having much respect for a coach that doesnt want to be here,indeed the way they are performing on the pitch looks increasingly like they are coached by someone that doesnt give a to$$.

What would we gain by getting rid?

A new impetus.
Some attacking ideas.
Someone that wants to be here.
Some defensive structure.
It may even stop supporters not bothering to attend games - thus increasing income.

Even the most ardent Kear supporter must surely see how mind numbingly boring Kears tactics are.
Every supporter has seen Kears catalogue of selection boobs.

We are supposed to be in the entertainment business -- theres absolutely nothing remotely entertaining about our rugby - its total crap.

Yes we have an extremely limited squad that isnt good enough to grind out results with 5 drives and a kick(usually a gash kick).
So why dont we at least try to play with a bit of flair and attacking ideas,i would sooner watch us get beat trying to play some rugby than watch us get beat with the borefest style we are serving up.
But we dont play with any flair and give it a go,because we have a coach who is a dinosaur and whos coaching techniques are so far out of touch with the modern game.My lads Under 11s have more attacking flair ,set moves and better defensive structures than what Kear is coaching to his players.

And now comes the bit where you can shoot me down.

I have a season ticket and the club already have my money,but quite frankly i have no interest in watching us play whilst Kear is in charge.I have forced myself to go the last few games,but it so unbelievably boring to watch,i just cant be ar$ed anymore.I rarely attend a game expecting us to win,but im always hopeful,but i dont see any light at the end of the tunnel that our on field performance will improve or even threaten to slightly entertain whilst Kear remains.

I can't be harrised to get in to the rights and wrongs of it but irrespective watching wakefield tonight was simply mindnumbingly dull. Whereas in years gone by I would do my damndest to wriggle out of obligations to turn up I now find that other plans come as a blessing that I might be spared the torture. Thank the lord for my work's gathering this sunday

I think that is a tad unfair. Unfit yes. He will get better. Looks like he has it in him.

Bit too soon for that kind of comment. Give him chance to settle in and get his fitness up to speed and then judge him.

I have always stuck up for Kear but I'm finding it very hard to disagree with any of that.

He wasn't even the worst player in our team tonight let alone ever. 1 decent off load a try and a few decent runs more than some manage in a career at Wakey!

Give over. He looked half decent from where i was stood. He actually created our only second phase play with an offload.

How exactly? He hasn't played a game for nearly a year, how is he going to be match fit? He might turn out to be a big steaming pile of you know what but he deserves the chance to prove himself.

And he scored one of our two tries, what does it say about the rest of our 'heroes'?

Looks like JK's been getting the blame, by a few of the usual suspects, but imo this one tonight, was down to the players, knock on after knock on, players falling off tackles and missing tackles, stupid penalties. All are basic mistakes, that players of this standard, shouldn't be making, at least not in the quantities that were served up tonight.
Up to the last couple of games, I've enjoyed the rugby and also the vibe down at Belle Vue, but I don't know what's happened, to the spirit and effort, that was there from the team, in all the games up to and including the CC cup game with Cas.

Agree, for a guy, who has been training on his own I believe, up to coming over to England a few days ago, he was never going to be in top fitness . Once he gets up to fitness, he will be a handfull.

Felt for moore tonight. Was a chance for the lad to give it a crack but seemed to be shoved out wide all night. For some one to go on about his kicking game then let lee do it all again bar two was beyond belief

He's got a real gut on him disgraceful that a pro let's himself go like that can't see him being fully match fit this season

It's no bigger than Higgins' !! Me thinks some of this criticism is perceived 3rd rate aussie syndrome. He looked a handful albeit not quite with the pace at times. jeez talk about giving a guy a chance

I have never being a fan of Johnson and after tonight it is clear to me that he is not and never will be a SL winger think John the Wigan fan hit the nail on the head a few months ago
he is bloody lousy under the kick can't tackle and is nowhere near as quick as folk make out
As for Dean and Korki tonight the less said the better

Blaymire and Murphy both had solid games apart from that it was one to forget

As for the coach I would do nothing until we know what level we are playing at next season
we are too flat in attack and don't move up to meet in defence 5 drives and a kick won't cut it

Never said that but he should be fit if he had any professional pride in himself
