Yeah I agree, although Batch has been brilliant so far, you could argue we are only missing Fifita, Miller and Johnstone, which obviously they are a big miss, but like you say it's a good squad. No disrespect to Wire, but I will be disappointed if we lose to them at home, how times have changed eh.....

Should be a good contest, if these two squads were listed before a ball was kicked pre season then Warrington would be strong favorites. Our boys have proved to be better then just about everyone expected and Warrington have not been as good as expected. It is a sporting contest, most likely there will be a winner and a loser. I will be happy with a win no matter how well we play. If we lose but play with heart, controlled aggression, desire, passion and Warrington play well then bravo, I can still enjoy and credit to team.

Jowitt out Grix playing bad in last 3 of 4 games why

This is definitely a big head scratcher. I expected Jowitt to feature a lot more than he has this season. With Grix out of form and still being selected makes me wonder if Jowitt is on his way out of the club.

A major talent that could have had a lot to say in the past few games. If I was him I'd be asking questions, without doubt.

Max Jowitt - are you all saying that you know more than the coaching staff who see the strength/weaknesses/potential of our playing staff on a daily basis?? The same coaching staff who have got us where we are in the league with a brand of speedy, skilful and aggressive rl that we haven't seen for decades. Personally I'm more than happy to defer to CC and colleagues on decisions like this.

I've heard Chester speak highly of Max so I don't think he wants him out. But who would have disagreed with the decision to play Grix for the first 15 games. He was outstanding.

You make it sound like Grix has been rubbish all season! He's had a couple of off games but he's been outstanding generally and made me eat my words. Max is young and will surely step up soon, but in any event I wouldn't mind seeing Max being given a shot at Stand Off!

Do you believe there is personal vendetta against Max, and if so you might like to present some tangible evidence to support your claim (other than just your opinion which is based on a lack of information). I believe the management are doing what is best for the club as I am unaware of any facts to suggest otherwise.

Vendetta might be too strong a word. Out of favour is probably more apt.

Max is behind someone who has been in top form. \as that player is also part of the leadership I'd say it's worth trying to get him back to form rather than binning him off. He's made some mistakes but he hasn't been rubbish. And when the team has been beaten he is the one guy still trying to do something creative.
I like Grix. Want him in the team.
I also like Max. I want him to be in the team for the next ten years.
It's possible to have both.

As for the team who IS playing on Saturday.

I think a key area for us is in the centre.
Warrington normally have real strike here but have been off. We gave Atkins some room last time and he took advantage. As did Lineham. I think the team we have this time can close that gap in the defense.
It will be as important as the battle up front, where we are down on numbers.
I hope Walker is properly fit now. This is a good game for him to show his worth. He likes it tough and the Warrington forwards will want to bring it to Wakefield this time.

I think and hope Warrington will be nervous as its them chasing the top eight. Easy to say but we have to stick to the game plan, complete sets and not give away penalties and not chase the win. If we do all that right I think we will win but there is the Atkins factor and if we give him any room he'll punish us. Looking forward to it and hopeful rather than confident

With the players we have out and the adversity we had cope with during the match that was the best win of the season for me.
