Yeah good luck Foxy, He may have had faults but how many Wakefield players can hold their hands up and say they played with the same enthusiasm and commitment?
Personally I would have kept him - I don't knock the coach as much as many on here but how Richie Mathers is preferred to Fox on the wing beggars belief to me. It was obviously a monumental success!

I don't think we have a guarantee on Riley so he could be called back at any time. I believe this to be a massive error of judgement because despite many of his critics on this forum he gave 100% in every game and he took some hard hits for the cause.

He is only defensively vulnerable when Collis is his centre, on Sunday we all saw what Collis does and it leaves your winger Vulnerable. You could have Manu Vatuvei on the wing and they'd still score, if Collis shoots out then the winger does too either way a try will be scored majority of the time.
Maybe it's not only his Hamstring that cut his NRL career short, down under they're massive on defence.

Doubt he'd have just walked away from 5 or 6 months salary for nothing, we'd have had to have come to some agreement.

Fox was arguably the best winger we had this season, and so this just sums up Agar as a clueless, brain dead fool and that the fact that anyone can defend him or his actions is a disgrace. Thanks for all your efforts Foxy, and good luck for the future.

The guy does know where the try line in but, after Mathers, he (along with Reece Lyne and Washy) is one of our favourite scapegoats.
Some folk have more faces than the Town Hall clock.

Although the guy is still good going forwards and makes the hard yards and he knows how to score, he has ben regularly slated on here for his defensive frailties.

Would be suprised as we play wolves who may not let Riley play.

Fox, unlike the others you mention, at least put the effort in, even though he did come up with some cock ups. Personally he would've been way down on the list of players I would've looked to have got rid of.

fox himself has said in private he won't play for wakey again, expects to go to fev, very critical of agar too but I guess he will be, I know he on a big contract too so surely they will want him off there books ,a confidence player I think that obviously doesn't feel he getting right support and back up at wakey which is ashamed, I know he didn't even go to magic weekend

I agree with him putting the effort in but, the guy has been panned on here more times than I can remember but, we have some kind of belated player worship going on.
The guy was excellent in his first spell here but, despite some very good games and excellent tries, his second spell hasn't been as good and as with any winger (or full back), his errors have been exaggerated due to where they take place (ie in our "20"icon_wink.gif and many have called for his head long before now.
I'm not saying that they were right, other than passing comment on the fact that, having had so much criticism, it is strange that his stock has suddenly risen.
