Its not a pop at the people of SWAG who have gone beyond the call of duty to tey make it happen, we will always be greatful of their efforts. Its the lack of ANY information coming out of official channels which is the problem. We don't even know any timescales other than 'we are still working on being ready for 2015'. Seeing as thats now about 18 months away that is highly unlikely but there seems to be a game of smoke and mirrors going on. Its all too quiet and thats what starts the rumours going.

When Yorkcourt were looking for investors to come on board at the outset they struggled to get any because no one believed that they would get to this position, apparently now that they've got pp through the same people that said they wouldn't do it are falling over themselves to hijack the project and take over it, hence it is taking time because they are trying to sort out the best deal possible for them.

You really believe that? There's a lot of people put a lot of time and effort into trying to make this work but think its about time the people above them in charge cut to the chase and admit its not happening .

There's no reason to think its not going to happen, although worryingly the timeframe keeps slipping by. Still as I said before its not as critical as it was two/three tears ago. Trinity need it to move on as a club but its not going to count against them in any sort of licensing system anymore.

You asked a question, I gave you an answer, please yourself whether you believe it or not.
Do you think that as far as Yorkcourt are concerned Wakefield trinity were ever anything other than a vehicle to get pp for what they wanted out of this deal? and do you know how much they have already invested in the project to get it to this point?

The ground will get built simply because that's the condition of Yorkcourt getting what they want out of the deal, they may not be as concerned with the timescale for building the ground as you are, but they are concerned with getting things sorted generally because they have an awful lot of their own money already tied up in it and this is a life changing deal to the owners.
The club have nothing to bring to this project other than rent at the end of it so as important as it seems to most Wakefield fans that the ground gets built, it is simply a small part of the whole project to the people who have control of it.

Get a grip, it is critical, we have no home, its sold. We are screwd with out it, and the club wiill tell you so

It will be, but it may surprise you to know that not everyone who is involved in this has Wakefield as there number one concern and it is not only the ground that investment needs to be found for, it's not as simple as find x amount to build the ground and don't worry about the rest as Wakey fans would like because it's really only the rest that Yorkcourt are interested in because that's where they make their money.

It will only go ahead if enough companies sign up for the various types of units that are on offer BEFORE they are built. And remeber a large amount of these have to be up and operational before the ground is built.

So are you going to tell the good people just how many of these companies are signed on the bottom line up to press?

Newmarket will happen its just when that's bothering me is it a case of holding out for the best deal for the stadium? If so how long are we going to hold out for the best deal? What we all want is the stadium built ASAP and we know it takes time but some official announcement of the stadium progress would be nice because been kept in the dark leads to people making stuff up. We all want the this new stadium so bad lets get the bugger built.

Providing the bank of ireland are willing to extend the lease beyond the end of next season when it expires then yes. If they decide they want to sell it then that may not be the case.

Problem is it is apparently this arrangement that is causing many of the cashflow issues.

i was under the impression that we will stay at bv until we have a new ground and bank of ireland cant do jack about it!

They set the rent rates though. They could theoretically price us out of staying there.

Presumably the rfl would buy what is an iconic ground and let us rent it from them at a more reasonable rent ?
