Good Night out.. Westgate Run is an expierence and I'd make a step off at The Hop, also go down cobbled streets then head to Mex / Stereo (different bars which are good) and there's also Fanny & Bacardi's which you wont expierence anywhere else

Two clubs basically Havanna (Next to Mex/Stereo) then Buzz... which is near to HD Bar which has pool tables / table football too.

HD Sports Bar is also the place to go for footy on Sunday opens at 12:00 serves beer / food right in centre about 30+ HD screens.

Don't forget the Mecca and the roller-disco!!!!

Don't really venture onto Westgate much these days. Our night out usually consists of plenty of chatting, walking, real ale, continental beers, a bit of live music and the odd ogle.

So...

Working on a 7pm start with a drink in each.
1. The Red Shed - Labour club, bit of an experience, great real ale and it's cheap.
2. Fernandes Brewery Tap & Bier Keller - Real ale and oldies upstairs, continental and young uns downstairs.
3. Bull & Fairhouse - Real ale and live music.
4. The Priory - MILFs
4. Elliotts - Continental beer, al fresco drinking with loads of talent to look at along the cobbled street. Soul and motown DJ every other Saturday.
5. Inns of Court - Lively boozer with pool, darts and a great jukebox. A bit like the pub on Star Wars!
6. Harry's Bar - Great real ale, great bar. Always end up chatting with regulars or randoms, it's a bit like Cheers!
7. The Hop - Real ale, live music, al fresco drinking with some great talent knocking about.

At this stage it usually goes 1 of 4 ways. There's Fanny & Bacardi's show/drag bar, Elephant & Castle which could hold anything for the end of the night, Graziers which is open until about 7am, or fodder at the legendary Pie Shop, usually between 6 and 10 pies and hot meals with all the trimmings for less than a fiver!

3 of us have booked to stay over at the travelodge near the centre on the Sunday night, will it be quiet or still fairly okay after the game?

Wakey used to be a decent night out on a sunday a few years back but i decided to venture into town after the Huddersfield game earlier this season and most places were shut. Ended up in Graziers which was dead and Elephant and Castle which was a bit better but not much

As for Saturday nights avoid HD like the plague. Full of underage roidheads who only go out for a fight, they catch wind of any scousers and they'll target you. Everywhere else is fine

If we are talking Heppys,Pussycats,Dolly Grays then what about Dog and Gun or the Mitre.

A few in the Dolphin with the rockers and through the passage to the Balmoral to drink with the mods. Or the other way round finish of at the Intercon. Well, the Mecca has gone now, hasn't it?
