Irrespective of personal character, Cockayne has maintained his 100% committment to the cause which he showed at Hull KR. On the field he has been committed and played effectively. You'll struggle to find a Wakefield fan who thinks McGoldrick is [ueffective[/u on the field (unless you are referring to penalties, high tackles and annoying everyone).

Had plenty of bad boys at Wakey over the years who have done well Cockayne will always give 100% and McGoldrick would give us nothing as way of improvement to playing staff.

Hull couldn't live with us in the last quarter. The reason Sykes missed that last goal kick is beacuase the Hull pack were blowing that hard it blew the ball off course. Danny Tickle was literally praying for the final whistle, his face had gone through every shade of red in the spectrum.

To be honest we handed them 24 points with unforced errors. Cut them out and we were the better team. The sooner the Cod eds accept this the easier it will be to get over it.

Am I the only one who thinks that Mason would do a decent job? Twenty minutes per half of 'orrible bullying, with orders to avoid trying to off-load or do anything fancy.

I agree, with the snobbery on here anybody would think we are Saints or Wigan. Mason is a tough, reliable athletic front rower - mature and physically at his peak for a prop forward. And whilst the SL Stats section doesn't seem to be working like it used to, his error count seems to be around average for a prop forrard.

1 error this season! Mind, he's only played 6 games.

Agreed. Does need to cut out the penalties but for me never had a high error rate. Very solid.

If you actually watch or even understand the game there is no comparison on the field between Ben and the daft lad.
