7 tries in 7 games - defense pretty good, OK he missed kicking the ball today & LesCats scored but you can't knock the guy, should have kicked that conversion though

unfortunately he also gave he gave out the interception pass to Dureau`s try, but still had a good game .

I like to see players trying things though and if that pass would have come off we could have been down that wing!
I rate Ben, very good signing so far!

i am full of praise for BC, just 2 problems :- all opposing teams seam to target him with high kicks on the last tackle because of his hight, he needs the taller players to be aware and help with cover. Second he try,s to shepherd the ball over the dead ball line (as yesterday led to a try) just blast it and conceed the drop out.
Still think he is one of our best players though.

After seeing the highlights on the super league site I haven't a clue what Cockayne was trying to do, just one of those things I suppose. Other than that and the interception try he had another good game. More of the same please.

Think it was just the unpredictable bounce of a rugby ball that caused him to air swing, could happen to anyone!

Why dont players running back to their line just dive on the ball like they would if they were scoring a try?

Surely would take away a large % risk away from the bounce of the ball.?

The interception pass was one of those 50/50 balls that, if it had come off, would have sent us in for a superb try; I'd rather watch players attempting that kind of play than the old 5 drives and a kick.

The in-goal schemozzle was just a plain old mistake - could happen to anyone; more likely to happen to a player with such a high involvement in the game - he was everywhere.

Fair do's - he had a cracking game.

I agree bren, but remember John did exactly the same v's Bratford. So what could have been 2 tries for us became 2 for the opposition. I'd rather watch that too - maybe next time it'll come off

Can i on behalf of a "few"Rovers fans say "I told you so"?
Will be the most energetic player on the pitch most weeks always wanting to get involved coz he loves his RL !!
Mistakes will come but fans will always forgive a player who gives and trys as he does.

hes always being a good player just shot himself in the foot from time to time I would be more than happy to see us sign him for the next 2 seasons

nobody has ever questioned cockayne's intensity or commitment on the field. the issue remains constant though, he's at some point the most likely squad member to have a brain fart off the field and get himself into trouble and bring us bad press. to date, there has been no evidence of this.

on the field, he's got himself in the right place to score tries, that's a talent worth having. he did however gift two tries to catalans on sunday, but the masses on here seem to have missed that.

They didn't miss this but thought his contribution out weighed them
