To be fair I would not be dissapointed if JK is given the chance with some money when he had a fairly decent amount we were 5th in super league our highest ever finish and we were in the Semi final of the cup . The season where it all fell apart we were in the top 3 then Mr Tronc went AWOL Brough left etc. I would not begrudge Kear a season to see how he does with some brass behind him for once. But on the other hand if we have a change for Noble i wouldnt be dissapointed either. What ever happens we need to get behind JK either way.

I think we should bring someone in who is going to bring a whole set of new ideas and who will also groom Tony Drury to become the next coach once the first one leaves.

Give him the chance if we are gonna spend on a team, if we are staying tight on the budget then go for Nigel Wright and give him a free reign with a very experienced assistant.

At the end of the day, it's going to be about who's available and who wants to come . Those in charge are really going to have do their homework and find someone, who can take us forward and change the mentality of the club as a whole, which isn't going to be a easy job at all.

A lot of supporters have said this is the worst squad we have had down at Belle Vue since the early 80s, yet JK has pulled 6 wins out of the the hat with still a quarter of the season left, & now the SL licence threat has gone there could be more to come.
JK & the team he puts out never go on to the pitch thinking lets screw the fans & get hammered today , I believe they are always trying there best, & with better funds I reckon he could again get us a top 5 squad with a full salary cap to play with.
He gets my vote to stay on as head coach.

wait till the end of season before talks start, make the position avaliable to any interested partys and if somehow the club still thinks kears the man for the job then so be it but i wont be attending many until he goes for good.

There are so many reasons other than Kears coaching that have caused massive problems this season. Kear has not helped his case I'll grant you but our on field problems run far deeper than just him.

Wait till the end of the season to announce the new coach by all means, but we need the position sorting quickly behind the scenes, so the new coach can have an input into player signings, otherwise if we wait until the end of the season to start talks, there will be no players worth signing available.

Cooke, Smith, Lee, Paul Johnson(the elder) Tony, Senior.

Those are the types of players JK creams over.

If he stays and recruits the team ,be prepared to watch a bunch of such players next season.

Hopefully things are going on behind the scenes to sort out the coaching situation as it has to be number one priority.

Anyway the only Kear I want to see at BV next year is Elliott of the Crusaders. That lad has bags of potential.
