I think there is a lot more happening behind the scenes that we won't get to find out about for a year or two.

If JK is going to sign for Catalans, then we should not let him continue until the end of the season. As part of the deal he should be released with immediate effect to allow a new coach to be installed with time to try and resurrect the season and get his own structures in place and plan ahead for next year

I may have misjudged John Kear but I do think he would have engaged in conversation with JD.
It seems as though no individual from the club had the decency to speak to JD,only his agent.

Great news for Wakey IMO

Whilst I'm happy he's staying, he's hardly chosen to stay. Had the Dragons been prepared to cough up he would be gone. It makes you wonder why they even bothered interviewing him if they weren't prepared to buy out his contract.

To be fair, JK could have thrown his teddy out like players do and gone for nothing.

At least, if the report turns out to be correct, it confirms Kear as an honourable man.

Odd thing from my point of view is, this morning I was told by a very reliable source that Catalans were ready to announce tomorrow.
